I caught the last 20 mins of 22's and it ended 6-5 or something. Couldn't get a definitive answer from people in the crowd which way but...
Firsts ended 4-0 to Bulli. Pretty poor performance by Magic really, although it would be unfair to give a fair chunk of credit to Bulli for their performance.. They were fitter and extremely well structured and drilled, were the better team by far and looked a sharp outfit.
6-5 to bulli in 22s I think.
Magic were the definition of stinking in first grade.
Not good signs for magic then. I know I'll be reminded it's just a trial, but that's a touch-up in my book!

Agreed, terrible challenge and if in a competition match I daresay Piddo could expect a few weeks on the sidelines. Feel for the Bulli player! Ref could have dealt better with the whole thing as well and played his part in the lead up by letting other challenges go, but no excuse for the challenge that resulted in the injury.
If the tackle was malicious on purpose. I think they should make it that the player that committed the challenge, misses all the matches the injured player does.
Players have to remember that just about everyone works, And tackles like this have affects on people lives and jobs. The tackles sounds grubby, to say the least.
CCB 0/0 halftime vs Wallsend very uninspiring to say the least.Maybe the weather & bumpy pitch can be taken into consideration.
