We looked like an absolute bag of nerves. Almost as of our entire season was riding on this game, whereas Chelsea didn't have a care in the world.
On another day a few more of the 6-7 good chances we had may have gone in.

He had a good game. Not as good as Kepa, but Cech didn't hurt our chances of winning. Everyone else bar Xhaka, Iwobi and Willock did that.
Giroud scoring was one of the stranger erections I've had in a long while.

I really, really enjoyed that ref. He let all the right things go, in a great way. I don't feel like I normally see/remember a ref doing good and feel the need to point it out, but I thought he was superb today.

Chelsea are weird man. they dominated the 2nd half and deserved the win. Would have to put that down to some half time adjustments and motivation from the coach wouldnt you?
but then they all look like they 'hate' Sarri. its a weird dynamic. no one went near him at full time, and with the blow up after training it makes it look even weirder.
but somehow they get the job done.
The other one now is Willian. he always looked like a optional extra in that squad. i think hes a really good player, super talented. now with Hazard gone does he get more time or is he just never gonna find his place there?
If Madrid get Hazard surely they'll be looking to offload Isco or Ascensio, geez, either one of them would be a good replacement at Chelsea.
