Saw this on NBN last night and after a 5 minute report had no idea Griff took part until I saw this on FB this morning.

    https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...07259542621256

NBN interviewed their weatherman who looked a right twit, a local actress, some pair called Carly and Tranny and of course a "Knights Legend".

No fuss Griff probably did it with ease and donated his own cash as well.

Wouldn't be good that is for sure but therein lay the challenge for those at the club at management level to prove last season was not a one season wonder and we should be a club of choice for players.

No doubt City piss in these players pockets leveraging the real City connection and the City group opportunities and some of these players demonstrate just how gullible they are by believing it.

City's facilities play a big part but Biraz loved his time in Newy and we know he is a good keeper. At the very least I want to know the club made him a good and fair offer

Without the Scorpion, Nabbout, Duncan, Pato, and Roy missing for ten games it's unlikely we will do as well this season - unless once again one of the young ones steps up much like Joey C did last season.
I still think the club is a genuine top six side though.

Pato isn't a big loss and We learned how do play without Roy last year. Nabbout is the problem. We need to replace his quality and work ethic upfront some how

Patio had potential to be huge in this league but isn’t a huge loss in terms of actual output last year.
Nabbout is easily the biggest loss, doesn’t really need to be pointed out.
Fact is defensively we are similar to last year except keeper.
Attacking we have Dimi, Roddy, Joey, Roy, Hoff and one more quality inclusion, possibly another decent one on top of that. We are looking genuinely strong, particularly if that one player of quality performs like some of Ernie’s (and Griffs) other signings.

Ernie is also really talking up Roddy, I am thinking a full season for him and he may push JW medal status!
Holding on to Dimi is important though, my optimism could drop if he leaves for overseas.
WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY !

    lowy (reportedly) gone!

    https://www.theguardian.com/sport/20...ven-lowy-quits

this line is a pearler: "In an interview with The Australian Lowy cited “the politics in football” as behind his decision to leave"

the man obviously has a clearly developed sense of irony.

Well, Lowy isn't really "gone", he's made a threat, that he'll go if they don't go his way on the structure of the congress, or what ever.

Hardly a "I'm leaving" speech, more like a "I'll go if you don't side with me and I'll take the board with me, and you made a terrible decision if you do this".

Cya later you piece of sh*t. Won't be missed, at all.

You've got to be a certain kind of shady when people think FIFA can do a better job that you.

Milligan had a rough time at Sydney FC but I don't think that sort of behaviour can be justified.

I'm a huge advocate that football in Australia needs a shake up at board level. But all of this is a little bit of a shame.

Say what you will but Franks legacy should not be forgotten.
