    Beat me to it

But still not keen on Austin. But can we be choosy at the moment? What else is out there in the market?

It honestly sucks so hard that we are looking at him. He has some pace but no football brain. Surely Ernie couldn't work his Nabbout magic on someone that bad.

Here's a terrible question to answer. Who would you rather... Austin or Virgilli??? No talent gypo, but young and could improve, versus a local guy who just isn't up the level?

Can probably see a world where we have use for both of them. We're short up top as it is. Ikonomidis would be a starter while Austin could be serviceable off the bench.

But I'd prioritise Ikonomidis over Austin.

Another name who isn't anywhere near the first team of his club is Tommy Oar. What do people think of him?

Tommy Oar was ok without being outstanding in his last stint at Roar. Certainly has the potential to be a great player in this league but would have to improve on that last contract.
Could really flourish under Ernie, those type of fast attacking players seem to.
Itd be a gamble but id sign him more on Ernies record.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I definitely want ikonomidis over Austin (not even a contest).

Tommy oar over Austin yes but I'd take ikonomidis over oar. I love the directness of ikonomidis. Very similar to nabbout

Someone who has got a football brain and should be signed by an A League club is Danny Choi from Blacktown City.

Was brilliant in their final match of the season on the weekend. Much better all round footballer than Mitch Austin.

Well the good news is you set the bar low with your first post so expectation won't get the better of you in the future.
