Or maybe that's just at the NPL level? Are they in the top div for their region?

they're actually calling themselves the "canberra and capital region a-league bid". catchy, but i can see why they are doing it this way.

It'll def be Canberra United if they get in, like the W-League team. Which has the best kit, by the way

    We are a multicultural country

What actually sets this sport apart from others is that embraces all comers

We have a Football Federation who fails to embrace footballs greatest selling point

    That all are welcome

They actually operate a policy that excludes the multicultural component of our society

It is high time these clowns remove their no ethnic groups policy they have and start burying the hatchet between old soccer and new football from the self inflicted wounds Lowy and co have given us all

I have no problem with it. It either strengthens the club within the community or alienates it. I guess there’s the threat of violence, but different names does nothing to stop this. Same shit, different name.

Call your club whatever you want.

I was just pointing out that they wanted all clubs to remove those links, yet there’s one blatantly advertising Croatia. Which if it is okay for them, let the others do it.

    Gold Coast Knights are another.
They proudly display that they're a Croatian Australian club. The flag is on the crest.

    It is what it is.
As long as they genuinely make themselves inclusive to ANYONE around them, and not exclude those who aren't from that ethnic background then the FFA can't really do shit about their allegiances.

I'll be supporting the Croats tonight as Canberra FC take on Magic. Seven degrees, so it's kinda hot by Canberra standards.

How good is it to sit and watch four hours of football with six games.
Settle in for a nice night of grassroots football.
