There's a thread in the Australian Football section (http://www.newcastlefootball.net/for...p-18-19/page11), I've put all the games and times in there.

I'll be checking out the Hamilton derby tonight personally.

It is quite obvious that Northern refs have been told that NPL teams cannot lose to NewFM teams

That second penalty the keeper dived and knocked the ball away with his hand so the magic player went down.

First penalty was soft too but not as obviously bias towards Magic as the second

Was pathetic refereeing no other way to describe it.

Similar at Valentine, but on a lesser scale, some soft calls against Awaba, whilst Valentine were allowed to run through the back of players, pull shirts etc etc. Better team won, but score line flattering in my opinion. Awaba need to learn to play from the outset, Valo scored in first minute of both halves, set the tone for both halves, Awaba had a lot of good play and 4-0 not indicative of effort.... Ben Hay with a bomb in the last five minutes as well.

Speaking of lights, the facilities Valentine put on last night at Baxter Field were nothing short of amateur school, if that's the best a NPL club can do hosting well i'm not sure how they are even there. Lights woeful, canteen closed, refs room a storage shed. Lyall Peacock is Wembley compared to that amateur set up from a semi professional club last night.

Is BarTv (or anyone else) streaming any of tonight's games?

Braedyn Crowley scored 7 goals last night for the Jaffas. Regardless if it is against a low tier team that is still some effort.

Maybe the gap between NL1 and NPL is not as big as many make it out to be. Some very respectable results for the NL1 teams
