Gallante it is
boom time/marmelo boxed
In the sweeps I go in every year, I got drawn Marmelo, Ventura Storm & Tiberian. I've always had a winner in the sweeps, every single year. So one of those bad boys is winning, apparently.
OK
Apparently I've picked up Johannes Vermeer in the sweeps..
Is that a good or bad thing? I don't know anything about the racing..
Cheers for the encouragement..
For anyone else who doesn't have a tv in their office, it is streaming live on 7..

I think they need to forget about tradition and make the Melbourne Cup Weight For Age. The handicap conditions drives away too many top quality local and overseas horses.
Can't believe Melbourne blokes were potting the Sydney form in the lead into the Derby
The last two runs he had were as hard as nails and he had a beautiful set-up. If we don't get another slop-filled autumn he will be winning some great races.
i couldnt stop thinking about this all weekend.
if they ever did that it would prob mean less overseas horses right?
who is gonna ship a decent 4 year old over here to try and beat the weights?
i actually think it would then make people more aware of the horses that are a chance (and able to track the form) and 'maybe' create even more interest in the race?
i mean who is the last o/s horse that really excited the general public?
or am i approaching this wrong?

i really enjoyed this article, a sane assessment of who "da best horse in da world" really is and why the WBRR system is kinda stupid
=
Exultant is worth a stab early doors for the HK Derby, plagueos. Didn’t beat much today but has what it takes.
Insanely jealous hopefully the Mrs can let me off the leash
Winx runs second in the Longines ratings again - hopefully she runs them into the ground at Ascot this year and we can put this stupid ranking system to bed forever
interestingly, Enable not higher considering that the Arc was the highest rating race of the year
what surprises me the most is that Kitasan Black wasn't rated higher - the Tenno Sho double, the first in good conditions then the second in the slop were two of the best performances i've seen in the last few years
