this, just on his 2 games against Australia would have given him player of the tournament.

Don't particularly like the new own goal rule, think its unnecessary and will cause some injuries in the local leagues just from people belting the ball into the circle hoping for a deflection.

Just have to wait and see I guess.

I was watching Australia v Malaysia the other day. Apparently Australia had odds from Ladbrokes of $1.01 to win

the game is total garbage at the top level these days bar right at the pointy end.

probably more than 50% of goals from penalty corners and probably pure athleticism than skill on display. (like watching gve's jerks without the goals)

watch the games, most teams are competitive with your strayas etc for 15 minutes, then just get blown off the park due to their lack of fitness compared to the mutant supermen/women the top sides are putting out. too much emphasis on drawing fouls to gain a set piece. snooze fest.

i don't know about you, but i'd prefer to be the best at real sports, not the best at exercising.
