    The Gym and Crossfit Thread

For everyone to talk about their WOD's and gains and supplements and whatever.

If anybody is a member of a Gym, post up your membership/weekly/monthly fees and any perks you deem to be appropriate, such as babes in tights to men ratios etc.

Looking at joining Anytime Fitness, so any specific prices on them would be appreciated.

Also, do many of you actually do Crossfit? I'm assuming you have to have a relatively decent base fitness/gym fitness before attempting some of the WODs.

Can we rename this to the Lance Armstrong Memorial Thread ?

Jokes aside what can you achieve at a gym that you cannot achieve by cycling, swimming, running, and maintaining a healthy diet ?

    Brem!.
I train at snap fitness at greenhills, there is also one in the home makers centre at kotara
Prices are per fortnight - $25.70, no joining fee or lock in contracts
Perks - new equipment, is always empty after about 9, no lock in contracts actually quite cheap.
Cons - zero babes, shit cable attachments, no 15kg plates, not all that big.

Anytime is usually about 55-60 a month.
Perks - can use your tags anywhere at any anytime, hammer strength pinloaded machines and plate loaded machines, babes lots of babes, they are usually maintaned.
Cons - packed as all shit, a heap of flogs train at them, fees come out monthly, massive joining fees etc.

And in regards to crossfit, it all depends what you are into. I know a few people who do it and they love, personally i dont like it, but it can rewarding when its done correctly

Luckily some of us have good metabolisms

Used to have a free gym I visited (just a small one) but it was at set times and got over it eventually.

I go to Planet Fitness. Staff are pretty friendly.

$7.50 odd per week. They are gradually investing in new gear and upgrading the place too which is good.

Unless it is of semi-naked fit birds doing squat-thrusts..

I thought about going to the gym, but realised I didn't know how to take selfies very well..
I also drive an old Hilux with no power-steering, three point turns are a workout enough..

To be honest. I consider any male who goes to the gym to be of questionable character.

    And LandCruiser owner .
