I'm actually surprised but I expected a Maitland win. Credit to Southy though. I went and watched and thought Southy we great value up until the send off. They seemed to play much different to last year. Johnson looked good at the back and Wallace looked good upfront.

Singleton and Hamilton was a poor game. Olympic were convincing winners and never got out of first gear

Edgy drew Westy last round. Who pulled out. So they didn't exactly draw the bye last round.

Would agree with you General that up until half time Southy looked better than last year and they seem to have a good striker in Wallace although not sure how good you can be suspended and he will need to cut that rubbish out.

That said , Maitland for me dominated second half and looked likely to win had the game gone a bit longer.

How ref never gave Southy a penalty was incredible as I was right in line with it and it was a stone wall penalty.

Another bye for Edgy ... will they be first team in history to win a cup without kicking a ball Ha Ha
