Sydney 1-0
Like us, Sydney have been a bit up-and-down in the form recently. I can really see it going either way but I think with the return of Griffiths to the team and potentially David Carney we might ahve the goods infront of a big crowd.
If Carney plays, he is going to need to be replaced. So will Heskey if he starts, most likely for Griffiths.
I can see us going with:
----------------------------Birraz----------------------------
Beard----------Reegz---------------Mitchell------------MBF
Hoole--------Caravella-----------Zads-------------Goody
------------Taggz-------------Heskey---------------------
Bench - BK, Gallaway, Pepper, Griff and Oxborrow
With Griff replacing Heskey after 60
Gallaway for Carney after 65
Pepper for Goody or Hoole after 80
So i'm assuming the Emerging Jets will never win in Sydney either then? That is a horrible record for the man with all the answers.Gary Van Egmond – 18 matches (4 wins, 3 draw and 11 losses = 22% win ratio)
In breaking news, the Jets have announced that every fit player has been named in the squad for Saturday.
Also, we have 5 players with knee injuries. I blame the physio.

Referee Strebre
WE have been refereed by Strebre Delovski 14 times. Despite losing the first four times he refereed us, we have won 6, drawn 2 and lost 2 of the last 10 meetings.
The three times he has refereed us against Sydney, twice have been at home. We have a 2 win 1 loss record.
We have received 25 bookings and had 2 send offs. The opposition have had 23 bookings and 3 red cards.
Strebre has refereed us twice this year - 2-1 win over Adelaide and 1-1 draw to Victory
We haven't lost under Strebre since Season 4, Rd 14. That was against Sydney FC
Strebre has NEVER give a penalty against the Jets. He has awarded the Jets 2 penalties, the last in Season 5 against Sydney.
Is Griff starting?
Griff will be on the bench....lets be sensible about this.
