The Squadron along with Port Stephens Coaches have organised buses to transport Newcastle fans to the A-League Grand Final at the Sydney Football Stadium this Sunday.

Expected arrival time, SFS: 12.00pm

(If game goes into overtime, the Bus will depart SFS 9pm)

WHEN: Sunday, 24th February. Kick-off 5pm

TRAIN: Leaves Newcastle @ 8:30am
Arrives Central @ 11:09pm

PRE-MATCH VENUE: Captain Cook Hotel (corner Flinders St & Anzac Parade, Moore Park)

MARCH: 3:30pm from Pub to Stadium together

Newcastle will be playing Central Coast over 2 legs in the major semi-final of the 2007/08 A-League. The winner will win the rights to ‘host’ the Grand Final (whether or not we actually get to host it, or it will be played in Sydney will be confirmed soon).

The Jets will no doubt continue their 710 unbeaten streak against the gypsies from down south, and you won’t want to be anywhere in the world other than Bluetongue Stadium on February 10. Here’s the travel details:

Arrives Gosford @ 12:48pm
Apparently there is trackwork at night, meaning buses instead of trains for the return trip

Returns immediately after the game to United Sports Club, Bryant Street, Adamstown.
