Olympic, Magic and Phoenix have scored wins in Round 2 of the Presidents Cup.

Broadmeadow Magic, Azzurri FC and South Cardiff have all opened their Presidents Cup campaigns with wins over the weekend.
Broadmeadow defeated Hamilton Olympic 3-1, in what could be regarded as an upset considering Olympic’s off-season recruitment. Azzurri overcame Lake Macquarie City 3-2, while South Cardiff hammered newly-promoted West Wallsend 4-1.
Edgeworth and Valentine Phoenix drew 1-1 in the other game.
Weston Workers and Toronto Awaba had byes in the opening round.
Next week sees Lakes take on Olympic, Magic play Toronto, Valentine are up against South Cardiff and Weston take on Edgeworth.

The 2008 Presidents Cup kicks off on Sunday 2nd March with all NBN State League teams vying for the top honour in both 1st Grade and Youth Grade.
The Presidents Cup is a pre-season competition divided into two groups, A & B, with the 5 teams in each group playing each other once over a five week period. The winners of each group qualify for the Final, scheduled for Sunday 6th April.
‘The Presidents Cup is an important part of preparations for the clubs as they finalise their lineups for the upcoming NBN State League season,’ Northern NSW Football’s Operations Manager Alan Nisbet said. ‘It allows clubs to review their squads prior to the commencement of the regular season, allowing them to fine tune their roster of players.’
Hamilton Olympic v Broadmeadow at Darling St Oval, Hamilton. 4pm kick off.
Azzurri FC v Lake Macquarie City at Lisle Carr Oval, Whitebridge. 5:30pm kick off.
West Wallsend v South Cardiff at Wembley, West Wallsend. 4pm kick off.
Edgeworth v Valentine Phoenix at Jack McLaughlin Oval, Edgeworth. 5:30pm kick off.
