Thought i would make this thread for all travelling to Melbourne this weekend:

hope to see a large travelling contingent

The Squadron is pleased to confirm we have organised a pregame venue for our away supporters who are heading to Melbourne for Rd2 of the A-league. We have lined up Beer DeLuxe in Fed Square for any Jets supporters who wish to meet up for a drink and/or meal before heading to AAMI Park to watch the Jets take on Melbourne City on Sunday 19th October.
We have confirmed that supporters of any age are able to access Beer DeLuxe, so we invite everyone to come along and join in what should be a brilliant interstate away trip.

???

Get into Southern Cross approx 8am-8:30am.

Find some joint for a sit down breakfast and coffee then off to the casino. Wander down the pub at 11am and over to the ground for Kick off at 3pm.

SD Is also going down a day early and staying a few days. Will be able to let us know if he has a pool at his abode and a pool party may be on the agenda also

Plenty of shit to do

Talking to my Spanish amigo today apparently the Sign Of the Horns is actually quite offensive to the Spanish.

The recommendation was to use it along with the remarks previously made and we may actually see him jump the fence and snot us.

Apparently it has deep roots with the spanish term for cuckold.

Hope Griff runs past him do this though

As Furns said they have a shit load of range so if that's your thing trying new brews your in luck

If your partial to getting change from $10 notes for one schooner then you may wish to look elsewhere as you won't be getting much luck on that front

If you like drinking quality piss at exorbitant prices in a nice setting then you will enjoy yourself here though

Yep, been there for the Jets v Victory (at our home) when Heskey scored those couple. Was easily the most obnoxious man on the planet. Was called a "meth addict" by a bloke with 3 teeth.

Gah, dont like making an effort for those toffy Bier cafes but if you want a good euro beer closer to the city then AER bar on the roof of the European Beer cafe on Exhibition street is a very good rooftop bar. Got to walk the 3 flights down to the bottom bar for the good beers though.

Appreciate the feedback gents. Will try and give all of your options a fair shake this weekend and hopefully avoid any confrontations with Victory/Heart fans and their derby.
