I think you will find it was Rubens decision to leave

Got offered a 3 year deal, the jets were cutting costs and couldn't provide assurances in the last year of the deal that they could offer the money perth were offering him

Only out with injury because of Perth's long flight for pre-season games. Wouldn't have got that with us travelling to the might of the Weston Bears and what not.
