So will Terrace ( or uni because the premiers title is still mathamatically up for grabs) be taking promotion once the title is decided? Have Terrace got the players to fill a third team ( I believe that was the reason they came down in the first place) and with the unis higher team only in ZPL are they aloud to go up should they do the unthinkable and chase down the terrace.

Terrace def going up as far as I know.
We have a couple retiring but should be able to recruit well again.

Lol yeah we made a mistake by not consistently turning down promotion.

Consistently? We never turned down promotion we just never applied for it, we couldn't field 2 teams at the end of last year, we lost our whole back line and coach in 1sts after the GF and half our ressies left as well. We had to pretty much beg for the coach to return. Lucky enough we recruited 4 wooden spooners from medowie, a couple of old terrace players from muswellbrook and a handful of under 16s from Maitland to fill a team for ressies. We used 24 different starting players in 1sts last year ( has to be a record) . So the club thought they would be kidding themselves to try and even fill 3 teams this year. If you could send up just 1sts then we would of been in a position no problem.

Uni were very sharp and threw everything at us early. Very talented football team right across the park. If it was a game scored on possession uni would of won i'd have to say. Patience was a big factor in this game , after seeing hardly any ball in the first half it was a gutsy effort to hold shape and go on with it. Might be a tough one next week with both forwards coming off late with suspected broken ribs and broken foot.
P.S big fella with black hair in the middle of the park for uni was quality all game.

So reserve grade was the main event tonight...
1-1, Maryland own goal deflection...
Then they went on to score the equaliser off a bit of a dubious decision... Free kick 19 yards...
But props to The bloke that put it away, top shot!! No hope of getting to it, through the wall, lightning pace, good hit...

First grade, well I'd rather not talk about it... 5-0 to the boys in maroon...
The better team, everything just worked for them tonight...
We didn't play bad,they just played better...
So unless by stroke of some miracle, that's our finals hopes dashed...
We gave it a go, had a good stint I'm the middle there, but it seems it was not to be this year... Again... Better result than last year though (gotta find a positive somewhere ;) )
So we're here to play some casual ball now, see what we can do, maybe an upset, who knows...
But we still won't go down without a fight...

Rain? It's on top of a hill ffs. And as for traffic, they call it out if it even threatens to sprinkle. If only they had a field with more than 2 grounds, but they were happy with just the 2 despite how many teams they have.....

Should be better next season, I don't think the turf had time to take hold as it should, only just laid prior to start of the season I was told, most fields have struggled this winter with the grass coverage. Is very flat, I'm guessing cricket will like it.

Cheers guys, has been a great season for us so far, hopefully will have our injured players back In time for the finals and have 2 full strength teams, looking at the season I would say we have had the least Inturrupted run with only one washout which was played on spare weekend so no mid week catch ups.
A good bunch of blokes to play with so hopefully the majority return for next season!

How are clubs Leading Goal scorers going? Terrace striker top scorer is currently on 16. Not bad considering only played 12 games out of the season. Out of the 80 goals we've been able to share it around with everyone contributing(fullback is on 10) Only players not to score are our Sweeper and GK. Sweeper likes to get nude anyway so missing a penalty on the weekend didn't phase him. GK was filthy though.

So by the looks of things mussy need a point as a bare minimum to take the relegation battle to the final week. I don't know what their and tenambits goal difference is like but I'd say both wouldn't be pretty. If they get nothing out of the game then that's were they finish.

And to be honest, if it wasn't for Merewether's keeper having a shocker of a day, and Maryland not hitting the target more often, we could be in a very different position right now.

Big day for the Rangers with ressies taking on the undefeated Simba and coming away with a well deserved 3-0 win, Rangers were looking pretty sharp with a well balanced team, 5 of which played in last years 1st grade team.
1st grade started a bit shaky with Simba going up 2-0 early with plenty of momentum, Didn't take long for the game to settle in with a 2-2 half time score, The game ended 5-3 rangers but was a very tough game and a few boys will definitely be sore this week.

How do we think the competition will be this year, I didn't follow this comp that closely last year but I do believe the 3 teams coming up will adjust to this level and not just be here to fill numbers. In saying that I won't be predicting top 4 or anything as from previous efforts iv been left severely red faced figure Il save myself the trouble.

It got called off with 4 minutes to go with one of our best breaking his leg. Cant fault the tackle , was just a really solid side on challenge. Unfortunately for our bloke he'll miss the GF and be laid up for a long time. We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

My take

Rez. Hamo strong for 25 min, then ran out of puff or something. Terrace way to strong in 2nd half to get hme for the biscuits.

1st grade uni dominated us in middle of the park. Quality finishing the difference , uni pushed us all the way but we got over the line.

Maybe the football gods smiled on us for the year we had

I thought it was a great day
Terrace in ressies deserved the win our boys come out strong and got an early lead which we could not hold onto. The boys are not good in the heat and it got to them in the end

1st grade Uni were a better team but Terrace had the experience and took there chances and in the end that's what you need to do in a Grand Final

Overall Terrace were the best team all season and deserved to take the double out and all the best next year in ZL1

We are seeking applications for the position of club coach in 2016. The club has a long and proud history since 1894 which we are eager to continue. After a number of consistent seasons we are seeking a coach to push the club on to the next level. The successful applicant will bring an emphasis on success on the park as well as share our enthusiasm for all aspects of the game. Coaching experience is desired though other experience in the game will be considered. Closing date for applications is 5.00pm on the 14th of December.
