Sorry guys. I will not be able to attend any games and more then likely not be able to watch any Jets games this coming season.

Dear Skirt Boy,

I’m pleased to inform you, that you’re accepted as an exchange student at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in the winter semester 2012/13. Please find attached your letter of acceptance, a map of Weimar and further information for your prearrangements.

The Muswellbrookian is in the same boat.

But who are we going to get elongated yet concise football analysis from if he is away?? Not to mention VJ still being away..
Same could be said for Sanchez, except about trolling and slandering..

My trip to the Fatherland is on.

My OS-Help loan was approved and arrives next week.

Shitting myself. Out of 33 years I've only ever lived in a flat in Cooks Hill, Town House at Booragul, normal fibro at Windale and a year in Leichhardt trying to be a snob.

I'm booking my tickets for this thing tomorrow hopefully.

Anyone flown Etihad?

Whilst the prices are cheap, based on various airline review sites they are not rated all that crash hot.

Might lump for an extra 300 bucks to fly QANTAS. Well thinking aobut it.

I've been questioning the same thing.. I'm about to buy tickets to fly over in October and have been wondering which airline to go with..
I've got a cousin who travels constantly and was saying that both Etihad and Qantas are pretty decent.. My height seems to fvck me over with whoever I fly with anyway.. hahaha

I'm a short arse so I'm not bothered. Hell I can even put my feet up on the little rest on the side of the trains to Sydney and get a comfortable 2 hours sleep before all the kids get on at Hornsby.

Etihad are good in general. Def no better/worse than Qantas ATM anyway.
Only pay extras if you get a deal on Singapore or Emirates they are worth paying for (IMO).
More importantly take the airline with the better plane that's listed on your flights.
A380 are great.

Have flown with Malaysia Air over and back twice, no complaints even scored a free business class upgrade on the trip over.

Have had a mate fly with Etihad and hated it, only heard good things about Singapore

Flew singapore and wasn't a problem.

If you are on an A-380, get on as soon as you can and check in to the top level economy seats. Much better than sitting on the lower levels

This. Have flown both Etihad and Qantas in the past and both were pretty good. Once scored an upgrade to business on Qantas return from London/Sydney. Can recommend Qantas Business.

When i flew Qantas A380, the entire upper deck was Business. That was from LA to Sydney though, so config might be different dependent on airline/route

Wouldn't be a surprise. I flew on it 3 years ago so it's hardly a recent flight

Don't fly Jetstar to Hawaii..
I did it last year with my ex and all I can say is that you get what you pay for..
Cheaper flight yes, but if you want any form of comfort, food, beverages or entertainment then you will be paying through the arse to get it..
