The game had the old cliched feel about it.. "one eye on next week". Merrick took our big hitters off earlier in line with that sentiment.

By far the better of the 2 sides and it would have been a travesty to leave there without the 3 points.

The sapping conditions took the sting out of a typically exemplary finishing - making for some lethargic shots.

Pato to be a 'surprise' inclusion on the bench next week.
