Would love to see him cop what would have to be a minimum 7 games considering that’s what the roar bloke got for spitting at a player, should be more though considering it was an official.

Sydney are gonna really start copping it soon, no depth, possible Brosque suspension, Carney unhappy and the two extra cup games is gonna probe very difficult for them

I don't think Brosque will get anything given the distance between he and the official. Not saying that is right but can see it being judged that way.

Brosque would have to be one of the poorest examples of a team and club captain in the history of the HAL. In racing terms a developed print between him and the little angry man Matt Mckay from Roar.

I agree, I think he's too far way for it to be classed as "spitting at" someone.

I also agree that he is a disgusting excuse for a captain. Another Ref could have easily sent him for his reaction to the foul not being given. Absolute toss.


Luckily the Simon miss made everything better for everyone in the ground so no one will care anyway.

Footage of it here. Too me, definitely directed towards referee - looking directly at him and was yelling at him just before it. Deserves at least 3-4 games for me, but we all know that wont happen. Dont care if he is that far away, its a grubby act directed at the ref. Cannot be tolerated in any way.

Very difficult, should get suspended as anyone with a brain could figure out who that was directed at given the context, and that he aimed it in the air and not at the ground like you would do if you were normally just spitting, he had his eyes on the ref
