Instead of taking up space in other threads, I thought I'd start a separate one where I can share interesting stuff from the TPO Rankings.

To put it very simply, TPO Rankings are like the FIFA World Rankings, but for Australian football clubs (using a better algorithm).

At the moment the rankings include 200 clubs from around the country, including the NPL and NewFM clubs in Northern NSW. We're (hopefully) not too far away from expanding to include over 1000 clubs, including my home town club North Armidale United! We've put an explanation for how the rankings work here - How it Works (https://tporankings.com/how-it-works/)

And we try to update the rankings as often as possible here - TPO Rankings (www.tporankings.com)

Yep, the entire history is included. The peak for the Jets was early in 2008 (as you'd probably expect). The image below doesn't include the last couple of weeks worth of results, so it will have dropped off a bit.

It shows what a great season Newcastle have had though, coming off the back of a number of disappointing years. Keep in mind that the 2,200 mark (TPO Score) is approximately the average for the NSL/A-League.
