Wanderers are not going well this season - but I can't see the Jets giving them any trouble either.

Our midfield didn't turn up last week and if that continues avoiding the wooden spoon may become the target rather than top six.

They have been playing well....just those mental explosions at the end. Vedran probably benched again too.

I wouldn't bench Vedran if I were Babbel. Seriously. He's a quality keeper with a temporary head issue. Benching him may destroy him for good. Showing confidence in him may cure him.

we're talking Babbel here though, a man who week in week out tells us how shit his team is...

Dull draw as neither team has a goal in them. Not sure who our 9 is. Looks like Roy O'Donovan but plays nothing like the Roy of last year. Yeah, I know, service, but he doesn't look interested lately

Is that because he has been on the field?

Can we get a message to Boogs reminding him how slow he is?
His positioning needs to be more conservative.

I'd say the complete opposite. He's marked up better than Uga in transition.

Definitely a penalty. He kicked through Vargas' foot before he got the ball. He knew it too hence why he dropped his head and walked away sadly.

Ridenton having the worst possible touch then the best possible touch within the space of 3 seconds sums up that game and our season so far.
good for him though.
Big Ern should just put Kanta on the bench every game just to scare all of the mids into having good games.

Didn't see the game (see tale of woe with streams above etc)
Watching SBS highlighs however...

2nd goal
Pin ball in the box.
Dimi does good leadup work, finds Gorgeous George who has a shot.
In steps Vargas...stops said shot. :wtf:
Luckily it falls for the Hoff who puts it past Cantgetabitch with aplomb.

Bitch Puke goall
Gypo comes on and only takes 19 seconds to make an @rse of himself.
Carries on with the Leyton Hewitt come on's and is urging the lads
on to score another 5....in 20 odd minutes ffs.
Was probably dreaming of singing The Horses post match already.
Fk tard...

I dont know if it really is all Babels fault though

Look at some of the State League players he has though
.
Hamill
Bacchus
Elrich
Risdon

FFS It a team of NPL standard players at his disposal

Who left him with these spuds is a bigger query

yeah cant see how Babel is the problem.
im with the member, his players are trash.
also, the one thing our CB's are good at is containing the big lumbering striker.
we own Riera.

Babels comments might sound like a 'get off my lawn' type rant. but hes not wrong.

I am knocking on the door of 50 and i could keep Riera quite. When you consider Popa rated Riera and that other donkey Piovaccari you gotta question his judgement in regards to strikers.

Boogs failed at this v Keogh and Matt Simon though. We can't handle the big lumbering strikers that actually take it to the defenders. But we do it easy against the Morata types, like Riera.

look man if you say it long enough he was gonna eventually fall into the category.
Right now, he is the poster boy for GM's everywhere to take a risk on youth rather than recycle the same old A-League 'veterans'.

The one player that has shown some promise for that squad this year, Tate Russell, is the first one back on the bench once Risdon came back.
Thats on the coach, but yeah theres some utter trash wearing that red and black kit.
