Ahahaha, comedy. NTS with a shit challenge outside the box, given as a penalty. Shit house penalty, Covic saves. Ex Newcastle comedy there.

Things I learned tonight:
1. Wanderers aren't bad.
2. Mooy is real good. Let me get this right he and Vidosic can't get a national team run but Jedinak is still there?
3. There's a 'Vidmar' end at Pissant stadium. I don't think I'll see anything funnier for at least 9 weeks.
4. Covic.
5. Somehow Mark Bridge is still allowed to put 'professional footballer' on his entry card when he flies to other countries.
6. Mel.

Topor trying a through ball from right wing, failing miserably and getting caught WELL out of position for the goal was pretty funny.

Agree about Mooy! He makes everything look easy.
He turned several times with the ball and made meters of space every single time. He certainly looks a class above and i dont think it will be long before they are throwing his name in the national team hat.

It looks as thought Wanderers are going to be very hard to beat but will find it very hard to beat teams... they have no goal scorers in their team!

All in all they look alot stronger than gold coast or fury looked towards the end of their short lives.

Your analysis was shit. Topor never tried thru balls from the right wing last season, it was always long hoofs from deep.

PS Welcome back!

Other than his finishing the thing that really impresses me about Berisha is that he always finds time to credit the blokes that set up his goals.
You can't but love playing with blokes like that. Would be an awesome team mate.

Berisha is by far the best striker in the league and Broich is easily the best player in the League (I know Del Piero is here but he has yet to have the impact Broich has every game he plays)

watching the replay of the roar/victory game, wow melbourne are a rabble in defence. i don't know if they've improved from last year in defence.

they can keep the ball in defence but they just don't have any midfield movement to get the ball going forward.

Without any shadow of a doubt the Roar have confirmed that they are still the benchmark of the HAL. Perth are close to them and the rest are still trying to catch up.

Great work by Simon Colostomy, handball on the line, red card, penalty, Nix on par with 7 players out. Brilliant.

So it seems like the Mariners' "special" pink strip is actually just their goalkeeper kit. The keeper and the outfielders have just swapped kits for the day. You can't make this stuff up.

So many blokes to hate on both teams tonight.
Also, anyone else hear at abt the 25min mark Gypos had a corner and the dude on the PA pipes up with "c'mon let's hear it for your Mariners" to pump the crowd up.
FFS they even need to be told when to cheer. Between that shit and the stars on their shirts they are the biggest dead set embarrassment to any sport in this whole country.
What a joke of a club. ****ing Gypos, dead set they do themselves no favors do they.

Grimario

What's the crowd like? Someone was doing crowd stats on Twitter earlier, said they needed 8k to make it the 4th highest round ever and 12k for it to be the 3rd highest round ever. Guessing it is a shit attendance...

Yes. The only time I remember seeing him was when Garcia came over to the touchline to get instructions right after Colostomy was sent off.

So, I went along to the gypo game as I had nothing better to do and was given a free ticket. What a shit game. Neither team offered much in attack, Perth were really missing Smeltz. Typically, the gypo's played boring football, hoofed a long ball over the top for the goal and stole the win. Not that Perth would have deserved it either.

Oh and I call bullshit on that crowd figure. Looked about 6000-7000 to me. Pathetic.

Could hardly stand watching the Heart v Nix game.

Commentator was so pro Wellington, even though it was a heart home game, it gave me the s**ts. He was obsessed about the young guys who were filling in and was more interested in telling us who a player used to play for. Eg. "the ball has gone through to ex Sydney stopper Clint Bolton".

Anyone else find this?
