Should be easy, we always beat the Smurfs
I hope Alex King doesn't tarnish his good record by giving them a penalty

We'll win this and then it will be announced that Stanton has been signed for another 18 years.

Didn't realise you're a Sydney fan

we really are just missing that one key player that can make that final pass and connect this lead up to an actual scoring opportunity. That alone is the difference of us comfortably winning some of these games.

Have liked Kosta playing so much further back this game, has given us a little more comfort in defence and freed us up in attack a little more.

Great ball by Aquilina and quality finish by Taylor. Can never count out the Jets to bottle it last minute, but this has been a good performance by us so far.

Injured in training yesterday. Out for a month I think I heard.

And there we go. Such a shame to ruin what was an otherwise good game on our end. Big issue this season is how much worse we get the second we have to turn to the bench.

All down to poor coaching and in game management. Wouldn't matter who is on the bench

Yeah I heard them call out to Rob to mark Caceres on the edge of the box there. And right after he let Lolley easily back onto his left foot as well. No way we can start Rob next week

So Jets, but, given I thought we were certainties for a loss, I am pleased with a point but pissed it wasn't 3.

Doesn't excuse everything but his whole tenure we've struggled to see out games and he takes too long to make changes

I agree we don't see out games well at all but have a look at our bench today. Three local juniors who have no experience. Vidic isn't far ahead of them and a Brazilian who hasn't found his feet.

Sydney's performance aside we were the better side for the majority of the game. With our squad I'm not sure what more we can expect than to be 2 goals up over a team like Sydney. Individual errors costs us two goals, it happens, and it's not the coaches fault.

Do you really wanna complain about Stanton? Sydney have the best squad on paper without a doubt and how are they going? They were second best to our squad today. Sure Stanton can improve but ffs would you rather Talay?

I have no idea how Vidic fits into what we are trying to do.

You know the type of player who would fit in to what we are doing?

An Archie Goodwin type striker.

Just wish our club had that type of player around.

Also, Sydney were poor and we have a fair few decent players. But we were never winning that game. We don't know how to win.

Not a bad effort at all however my greater concern is a few players just had there one and only decent once a season performance in them. All down hill from here on.

We don't know how to win.

And therein lies the whole problem. Well said plague. A lack of confidence and a bit of mongrel to see out games.

Jets facebook seems to be blocking anyone who says anything negative no matter how small

Felt that was the best performance this year. Passing seemed more crisp and more forward/purposeful. Left hand combo was going well. We probably could have had a couple more goals. Grozos seemed better/more comfortable sitting a bit deeper.

When Dobson came on, he seemed to indicate we were going to 4 across the back, and that's seemed to let Sydney back into the game. Some poor individual defending, but the defence as a unit seemed lost when we changed.

I'm taking the game as a positive sign, but it's still frustrating.

It was quite obvious that the formation used all game frustrated Sydney. Although we went wide all the time, the guys up front were able chase and press very well.

After the 2nd goal and changes you could easily see two lines of four flat across in defence. We could all see it coming.

Know how to win and manage the game example - Wellisol went on a good run and won a throw near the corner. He ran toward the flag as he couldnt be offside and looked like he wanted to play down some time. Whoever took the throw basically rushed and went backwards, we lost the ball and it went up the other end. They scored the second soon after.

I'm strongly of the view that had we not made any substitutions, we would have won the game. But we did, and went on the defensive. After that, it was only a matter of time till they scored. About 5 minutes. Rob blames the players of course
