Will probably do Zad a favour and play them back into form
Level of interest in this game could see the site go into meltdown mode.
Put your house on it we are playing Roar back in to form 3-0

This is a massive game and a crossroad in our season. After decent performances lately a win here could really boost confidence. A loss would be devastating for our season and I think would lead to us spending the year trying to avoid the spoon.
This is the type of game we lose, but so was the game against Perth a couple weeks ago.
I think we'll get up
Hopefully Wellissol scores a bomb

Bit confused by the choice to bring Scarcella on in such a forward position. He made the best of it but it’s clear that wasn’t his spot.
Best performance from Wellisol so far, hopefully he can start getting more minutes in him, and Stanton can start hooking some of the younger kids a little sooner. Was good to see Rose on the pitch as well, hopefully come the end of January he’s fit and able to start games for us
I think this team is slowly coming together, with emphasis on the slowly. If we can pull out a win against Macarthur we’re 3 wins in 5 games, with a draw and loss in between. Still holding out hope that we’re getting a new signing or two in January to bolster the squad, I’ve said it before but a quality CAM in particular would do wonders for this team.

You know what ya right.
IMO he done quite ok toward the later stages against APL FC and honestly he couldn't be too far off winning a spot back in front of Taylor if he can produce more of tonight's effort.

I would rather swap him for Adams personally, who has had one or two moments (volley last night) but generally has been pretty poor for a few weeks in my opinion.
Taylor has been one of the bright spots for us in attack along with Aquilina, not a lot of end product yet but looks like he could make something happen.
If Adams can have a few more "moments" then maybe you do play him as a sort of Valentino Yuel type, where you expect to turn over the ball and make a lot of mistakes, but trade that off for something coming off every few games and creating a goal.

Indeed, it was a ripping ball.
Well in everyone.

I thought we were pretty poor, luckily Roar were slightly worse, that's why they they have 11 losses from 11. From the arse clenching attempt a playing out from the back, to Rose not being bothered to take the goalie on in the last minute, it was so Jets

Oh for sure, Brisbane were God awful.
But we've played worse teams in the past and still lost
So....ummmm....'improvement' i guess.

From the first game I thought Wellissol has something about him. Extremely quick feet and can beat players with ease. If he can fit into the system and his selection of passing and taking players on gets better he will be a real asset.
Not sure why we had Cancar at Right back.
Without Susnjar we look horrendous off corners. We conceded so many cheap goals of corners last year, need to improve in that department.

Cancar has been at right back for a few games now I believe.

Cancar can't tackle which is not too good for a right back, but he's got a bit of mongrel, so if you can put up with all the fouls, he's OK, just not in the box. As for good passes, Aquilina wins hands down, world class for the goal. If more players could put in passes like that, we would be winning a lot more games. Still not keen on Welli, and Adams needs to stop laughing when he misses, it,s not a joke mate.

We are playing a 3-4-3, he's the RCB and Grozos is basically an inverted CB or as we used to call it "stopper".
Cancar has been doing well to allow Aquilina the freedom to constantly get forward and put in crosses. But if I was an opponent, I would be targeting in behind Cancar and Natta as that's our weakest defensive zone. But the risk is outweighed but how much control of the ball we get with 4 CMs (basically) across the park as well as two attacking mids.
The tactics are simple but effective in this league, we just need to take more of our chances instead of relying on the defence to close out games. Much easier to defend a 4-0 lead than a 1-0.
