Hoffman starting? Massive lols!!

Just as I was about to post the Hoff performed a world class ball to no one.

I've only been watching in glimpses but it seems like a pretty good game, maybe not an extremely exciting one but it has been good to watch. Both teams generally seem to want to pass the ball around and build from the back, Heart more so maybe but then Wanderers have some individuals who look very good on the ball.

Good goal by Tadic; up until now he seemed to be the worst player in the league.

That Poznan they do cracks me up listening to Brenton Speed and Slater tugging off over it.

Claimed the other week that WSW are the first HAL clubs fans to do it!! Not sure where they get their sources from???

Anyways next Saturday down at Parra Stadium should be good with them having 2 wins on the bounce hopefully attracting a few more fans. When we score I say it is Poznan time back at the Westies. The more they do it the more that one little move is gonna back fire. Everytime someone scores against them it will be Poznan time

Fair point. I'd imagine the Sydney fans wouldn't travel back, but i reckon a fair few scum fans wont bother.

Crowd will probably be between 10-15k with over 50% being Sydney fans, which in itself will be farcical for a scum home game.

My God Trent McClenahan is a terrible player. I now see what the SFC fans were bitching about all this time.

With the depth there is in the A-League these days (NYL etc.) it's a wonder they can't replace players like that with young'uns who would at least match their performance.

MFKS
03-11-2012, 09:30 PM
One of the softest pens you will ever see. McLenahan barely touched the bloke and he went over like Greg Louganis. I wonder if Arnie will say anything about how fortunate a decision that was to go his way after the spate of "horror" ref calls the Gypos have received.

WTF is Crooky doing pairing Abbas and Reid in CM. The pair of them were run out of their last clubs for being lazy and neither tackles, chases back or holds position. How is McFlynn not picked before these 2 clowns?? Bet they can't wait for Choolina to come back

Sydney making Gypos look like Brazil. FMD

Take note of the Camera on the Gypos active support. Compare the contrast to Bay 2 at Stade de Newy. We score and the place is going off. They score and there is a few claps and the occasional scarf twirl. FMD

Also who else is hoping they take to the palm trees at Shittoungue with chainsaws and replace them with a dozen or so of those giant Sauce bottles???

Soft but not in dispute imo. Contact was very clear imo, soft as it may be. It was just idiotic defending, no need to pull that kind of shit in that position.

Remember when we said our defence was shit and we'll win games 6-5? Yeh it turns out our attack is quite poor as well. We don't have the ability to outscore the number of goals we ship.

Sydney didn't defend or put any pressure on the ball at all. Basically they let the Gypos do whatever the **** they wanted. A better team than the Gypo Scum would have reached double figures. Hate to see what would have happened if they allowed Roar that much space and time on the ball

This is how these peasants finish the season in such a high position. Aside from the game tonight they have been distinctly average, and even then I think the score should have been more like 3-2 rather than 7-2.

As we all know though, it's all well and good to rack up the 1-0 wins early in the season against Perth and Heart, different story come the end of the season when they go head-to-head (or whatever the Central Coast equivalent is) with the good teams.

If they are going to insist on playing Bertos at right back, we absolutely have to use pace and exploit their left and middle. The number of times last night his awful positioning kept Rojas or Archie onside in the first half was ridiculous.
