Finkler has been excellent

I think he should be referred to as the Wonz
cause he looks like Henry Winkler and it's a spoonerism of his real name and the character name
also, how good is beer?

Beer is good. I reckon Finkler looks like a young Kaka

We needed that one to be a draw...we must win tonight to keep up with the pacesetters.
It would also mean a breakaway top four.
Oh....and Mel in pink last night, mmmmm.

Mariners v Adelaide about to start
two incredibly uninteresting teams who are only this high in the table because they annoyingly don't have the weeks of completely ****ing it up the way everyone else seems to
also, this is the start of a massive marathon of football that goes to our game next, the three premier league fixtures at 11, 1 and 5, then the MLS final at 8:30, a break to the other two A-League games tomorrow afternoon then the match of pure hatred of MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup at 11 tomorrow night
fridge stacked, arse groove carved deep into the lounge - this is going to be good

Who's this mariners team you speak of? There is no such team. Adelaide had a bye.

Brockie opens the scoring v Western Sydney. Wind played a part.
Was just saying that a bet on Brockie to score is money in the bank lately. Dunno what he was paying

Trying not to be too biased, so was there something on at the central coast last night? Can't even get 7k to a top of the table clash. I know they play boring as shit football, but still...

Quality gaffe from Craig Moore when asked about Farina's credentials... "...let's not remember, Frank had the National Team for 6 or 7 years..."

Getting a bit tired of Del Piero having a whinge about every single foul on him, no matter how minor. Aren't refs meant to punish this kind of thing?

refs earn good money to protect and arent doing their job:blush:

Yep. Bet Garuccio will be wondering wtf was the ref looking at with Yau's tackle.
Yau = Grub personified.

I've been trying to find oyt, what do A league refs & officials earn? does anyone know?

Don't know the answer myself but I would expect them to be reasonably well paid.
That being said why do we limit ourselves to foreign coaches and foreign players.
Surely there has to be some refs somewhere in the world getting paid peanuts to ref the game in a European shithole. Surely we should be looking to entice a few of these blokes out here also to improve our standards of refereeing.
I am sure there has to be a few refs in some of those Euro countries suffering from the GFC and getting paid stuff all who would jump at the chance to come out here and get paid some decent coin and live in our great land.
Never know we might actually find one who has good eyesight and knows the rules:lulzturtle:
