I dont get the Tomic hate. Tennis players are especially highly strung people (read up on Roger Federers early days on tour he was a bit of an cranky asshole according to many).
But the main thing is (yes Davis Cup aside) that tennis is an individual sport, his attitude and personality affect no one other than himself. Im happy for him to cock it all up if thats what he wants. its no skin off my nose. I also think hes been way way way too over scrutinised. What has he really done wrong? Hooned around a bit, run amok with his mates and generally been a bit of a prat because hes come into a lot of money at a young age in a sport where everyone wants to kiss your ass.

Hes a kid. jesus if i had that cash at that age id have been even way more obnoxious than i am now (or probably dead).
Hope he kills it and wins everything, and if he doesnt, meh, there'll be another Aussie to cheer on eventually.
