Yet another in the long line of "failed takeovers" that always occur during transfer windows, contract negotiations and the like.
Any long term Newcastle supporter has learnt not to believe a thing until it's signed, sealed and delivered. Even then probably give it a week to make sure it wasn't a lie.....

Reflecting, most successful takeovers - you don't head about them until they are signing on the dotted line. Usually isn't a good thing when the media get a hold of it as "talks". Usually leaked, and leaked by a party to support a line they're trying push.

12,000 Season tickets haven't been renewed. I sincerely hope we can start hurting the FCB in his hip pocket and he might just cut his losses and walk away.

Considering I started supporting Newcastle United when I was 12 or so playing CM93 because they had the same name as my home town this would be the ultimate long play.

As a guy who have strong interest to football, although not a Newcastle fan, I'm just glad to see another potential top club in the English Premier League. But reality is cruel, and, at the moment NUFC is a top club only because of the new owners' money and they will have a tough struggle to save their place in the elite division, which they are still losing ...
