You can usually find a sentence or two through Google search ("site:newcastlefootball.net <phrases>")

I personally do my best. Cant leave the house without an aftershave or mens fragrance on.

Wait how many seats does tinklers private jet have? If his keen to take fans around the country in it he should give season ticket holders a 50% discount compared to casuals.

we're no oil painting, unless the oil is acne, and the painting is akin to a say, jackson pollock thinkpiece

just reading up on the open fan forum melbourne victory held. one of the big things the fans brought up was an away-game viewing pub. apparently mvfc are willing to buy a licensed premises, take ownership of it, if there's enough interest from fans. would assume it would be the pre-game pub as well as away-game viewing pub.

thread on fft forums about it:
http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=69531

imagine if furnz and co could convince tinks/hphsg to buy out the tenz, put foxtel in it & a bigass tv or three, and make it the supporters club for pre-game and away games. pipedream fantasy etc, but a good one. would there be enough interest from supporters, both active and non-active, to make it a reasonable idea?

Had a thought about this after checking out club houses on the ultras tifo forum. Get a ps3 in there with all the latest football games, air hockey table, swimming pool for them hot afternoon days in summer, would be epic.

For anyone interested in a little pop cultural 90's nostalgia, Smashmouth are heading to Aus in october touring a New album but will be playing plenty of their greatest hits including Walking on the Sun and Alstar.

i don't remember a 90's teen flick that didn't include Alstar from the late 90's

not sure who actually posted this on the old forum but i found it so funny that i copied it for safekeeping:

Myself and Parra Power Scotty were at the Tahs semi on Saturday and we decided to conduct an experiment.

The thesis: do rugby fans like beer showers?

The results: a emphatic no!

We've had season tickets to watch the Tahs games this year and every week, we've had to put up with this group of knobs that call themselves 'The Superfans'. These people dress up in superhero capes, masks and even wear undies outside their pants. They couldn't be real superfans because they always showed up after the game has started. They even attempt to sing songs like the tune to Raiders of the Lost Ark (without words). So with Saturday being the last Super 12 home game of the year, we decided to give them a parting gift, as only us football fans can.

Now of course, at a football game, it is customary to through your beer up in the air after your team scores a goal. So we waited for the right moment to launch a amber liquid drenching. Scott had save a half full cup of beer (he said he wasn't going to waste a full beer on those turds) and we decided to do right at full time.

So with the ref blowing his whistle to end the game, it was now the time. All the superfans were facing the ground and had no idea what was about to hit them. Scott launched his cup and it was weighted perfectly. The cup stayed upright until its descent, when on cue it seemed, it tipped over and drenched a couple of boofheads smack bang in the middle of the group. The reaction was, needless to say, 'priceless.'

Now these people know that we've been giving them strife all year and suspected us right for the time of impact. At first they had this confused look on their faces as if to say 'What the f*ck was that?' But after a while and a superfans 'huddle', they pointed straight at us. Our response? 2 cheesy, drunk grins and thumbs up to 'em as if to say 'You've deserved that all year, you w@nkers!' We then hung around till the players arrived and as we left, we both cracked up in laughter at these morons.

Now you're probably thinking 'What's the point of this thread?' Not much really. Just pointing out one of the many differences between football fans and rugby 'superfans'.

Superfans: go back into the cave that you emerged from, you oxygen theives!
