In the interests of being fair and attempting to reflect the views of all jets fans, this here is the thread for messages of support for our current Manager.

Marcello will most likely not be posting in this thread. ;)

Please no negative comments, put them in the other thread.
Negative comments in here will be deleted.

He has an ability to stay calm and collected in the face of a loss, analysing what positions on the field the team underperfomed in (comments usually involve something to do with the attacking third and "the final pass", or somehow losing structure around the time the opposition scored a goal, other than that they were great!).

He is able to reflect on the number of games remaining in the season as a reason to stay optomistic about the teams prospects.

This is all in the face of the fans stinging criticism and their simplistic and deparate demands for a team which has some pride in winning and shame in losing.

Can admit when he is wrong, like when he brought that kid on against perth (for the life of me i can't remember his name) then realized that was the wrong call and hooked him 10 mins later.

Also with players. Can see he has made a mistake bringing someone in and will then admit he is wrong and never play them again, see Jorge Drovandi.

He's playing for his job now because there isn't as much to pay off. If he plays well now it helps for his next gig - be it here or somewhere else.

But in short, yes.

Can you imagine it... playing like this for 2 year straight, winning games, making the finals? Would have been glorious.

But you just know now that we are going to play great (or okayish winning) football for 2 months, he is going to get another 5 years added and then we are back to possession. FML.
