I think its Heart and Nix's week. They have to win sometime

don't have a real problem with the red for kisnorbo, but god i wish they would give that every week. consistency is not a strong point of a-league referees.

Yeah, that was a good call for a red and justly given from my grossly uneducated opinion. But you see similar every week and sometimes they aren't even yellow.

Good call on the red and the spot of the foul.
Also: Mitch Nichols is by far the biggest (non gypo) ****wit in the A-League.
I call it the 'Robbie Kruse award'.

There also looks like there's a fair Barney going on behind the Heart goal.
Squadronz to be blamed somehow.

not sure who is worse: coe or the heart in general.

didn't see enough replays, should it have been a penalty for heart or not? looked inside the box from the one replay i saw.

What price are the short odds the RBB were involved??

After all they did everything first

Troisi: victory's zads? Every shot seems to end up hitting the roof.

Victory seem to be just about getting away with blue murder tonight.

If Zad was leagues equal top scorer, I would accept that comparison.

Surely the ref has $100 on a clean sheet for coe. How was that not a penalty?

Isn't the latest amendment to the rule that there has to be intent? Hand by your side in a normal position can hardly be counted as intentional.

belchardo
21-12-2013, 09:23 PM
True, but flapping your hand around like contreras did isn't by your side.

Honestly don't understand the intent bit. If you gain an advantage, it's handball.

Grimario

Speaking of flapping hands about... Coe, well done.

For the shit that Birraz gets at times on crosses/corners into the box, there are some pretty shitty more experienced keepers out there being just as rubbish, if not moreso.

belchardo

There really is no belief within heart is there. All he had to do then was hit it first time and he's odds on to score.

Handling the ball
Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with
the ball with his hand or arm. The referee must take the following into
consideration:
• the movement of the hand towards the ball (not the ball towards the hand)
• the distance between the opponent and the ball (unexpected ball)
• the position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is an
infringement
• touching the ball with an object held in the hand (clothing, shinguard, etc.)
counts as an infringement
• hitting the ball with a thrown object (boot, shinguard, etc.) counts as an
infringement
Rule 12 from FIFA
Pretty basic
It has to be a deliberate act.

Amazing how few people including referees and linesman know this

I vote Iain Ramsay a close second then...

Yeah, Nichols. Good on ya turd. Fart 1 man down and score off
a keeper fk up. Silencing the crowd? Wanker...just like Ramsay.

Shot through the Heart, and John's to blame
You give the A-League a bad name

Also talking about biggest ****wits in the A-League, the names Nichols and Ramsay were mentioned previously, I would add McGarry to that list.
Burns is a magnet for attention in the Perth midfield, but McGarry is the true grub of the team imo. The Kasey Wehrman of Perth.

Also:

In the interim, Edwards was replaced by former WA state development coach, Kenny Lowe, who, on his appointment, was serving an eight-match touchline ban for abusing a female assistant referee, allegedly telling her to ‘Get back into the kitchen.’ The ban was subsequently reduced to two games. The one match he was still to serve has now mysteriously been rescinded by FFA.

I remember seeing Lowe coach a WA state side at a Youth tournament and thought he was an idiot. Came across as a control freak who had to constantly tell the boys what to do instead of just letting them play.

Bloke should be on the plane to Brazil at least for the experience.

You know it would make sense for Perth or even Heart to go after GvE for next season.
