The Squadron and Yellow Fever supporters groups are joining forces on Saturday 22nd March to embark on an epic trek through Newcastle’s fine alehouses prior to and following the game at Hunter Stadium between the Jets and the Phoenix.

This is a chance to meet some fellow football fans from Newcastle and across the dutch, enjoy some prematch tipple (in moderation of course), sing a few songs and generally have a brilliant time and all that.

The timetable is as follows:

11:00am Customs House

12:00pm The Brewery

1:00pm Honeysuckle Hotel

1:30pm James Squires

2:00pm Dockyard

2:30pm The Landing

3:25pm Train Civic to Broadmeadow

3:35pm The Tenzo

5:30pm Match

8:00pm The Premier

9:00pm Sydney Junction

9:30pm The Kent

10:00pm The Northern Star

10:30pm The Exchange

Everyone (over 18) is welcome, however anti-social behaviour wont be tolerated. Its meant to be a fun day out, anyone spoiling it will be asked to leave. There is a great relationship between our two supporter groups, so banter and bevvies are the order of the day not bellends.

If you are coming, please feel free to RSVP on the facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/events/513959625382013/

Lol interesting with the premier to sydney junction hotel route that is one awful walk.

Why??

By that stage of the day everyone should be plastered.

Not to mention the walk will be quite pleasant with a couple of takeaways from the Premier anyways

That is decent but you would want to take the Yellow Fever boys around to some of the more picturesque venues around Newy, which is why starting at the top of town at Customs is a great idea..

Certain venues listed above didn't want us there, hence why we have come up with what there is.

why the **** are we putting out the red carpet?

Harden up FFS. If anything we should be ensuring they spend a night either in JHH or the lockup at at the cop shop.

You guys are so not Newy. Where is the passion? Where is the utter hatred for outsiders?

I'm sure I can speak for the majority when I say that we willl get some passion and hatred for outsiders when you deliver on your afore mentioned promise:
"When we win a game I will show a photo of a girl playing with her self."

Have you met any of the YF? it's impossible not to like them. Besides, I like the idea of having a friendship with an A-League team. We can be the Syd Cro- Melb Cro Friendship cup of the A-League.

Apparently the YF are the most accommodating of hosts for away travellers. I quite like the idea of this friendship. I also find it hilarious that our two teams on the field have such a fiery history, yet the fans be so chummy (in a good way) to each other :rof:

We love the NIX..... Clacka has booked a holiday to Scotland in the off season, Zad is thinking of getting married in Costa Rica......No lemons and oranges at half time tomorrow: only Belgium chocolates and plenty of carva for birraz to stay hydrated on the bunnings chair. Maybe we should ask if brockie can play the second half for us.......YF might even join the SHEEP quiz next season.

Memorable Moments;

- seeing wello people go out of there way to get Harry's pies
- moustaches
- stretch; could name many moments but the decision at the exhange to get 2 glasses of water and than pour them both on the ground was outstanding.
- Militia trusting his keys in his car door lock during the match

Honestly this a great annual idea

People who didn't come I really reccomend doing it next yewr

The tenzo car park, safest car park in Newy. Can leave your keys in the door for 2.5 hours no worries.

Why carry the extra weight around possibly throwing a muscle in your back out.

Health and Safety initiative practiced well.

Left mine in the ignition for 8 hours at uni one day. Was soooooo hungover (drunk) and i didn't give it a second thought until i got to my car, felt for my key....no keys. Looked in my car and saw my keyring, in the ignition. I was lucky that day.

Was such a good day last time

Highlights from memory

. Wellington supporters joining in our active support at games end
. Sticker bombs around newy
. Carving up the dance floor at the exchange (haven't been there since btw)

Met some of the sydney based fever lads at the trial game in september so hopefully catch up with them for a chat and a beer at the tenzo pre/post game.
