I believe Magic have retained most but are losing a couple to the Jets. My spirit guide told me Valentine have also retained 8 and Edgeworth 10.

Go Valentine!
Come on Phoenix!
Hey it’s a beautiful day!
Jeepers creepers yeah!
Scotty Gunster for prime mininster!
I am so sorry you are offended by these but in future I will do them more often and louder. I am so glad I got some great publicity and I appreciate the work bartv does. God bless Valentine.
You reckon you two could lay off the juvenile passive-aggressive insults?
Agree 100% , they ( captain Carl & co, you know who you are!) are spoiling this forum for us true football fans, take your rubbbish elsewhere
I cheer at games and people attack me for that. I defend myself. That is not rubbish. That is me exercising the 2nd amendment with my right to bear arms. I will be at the Adamstown vs Valentine youth games tomorrow morning (unarmed). I will be cheering there. Come say hello and we can talk about youth football.
I don’t think anyone has a problem with people supporting or being passionate about the teams they support. I’ve enjoyed reading some of Carl’s constructive comments regarding valentine in some other threads.
A bit of banter doesn’t hurt, but when it turns into pages of petty stupid comments it gets a bit much. Especially when insults starts to become personal, a few of you probably have an idea who Carl is (based on comments) and I doubt he/she knows who you are, so I think personal attacks and inappropriate comments are a bit unfair.
People are entitled to opinions and occasionally they differ to the norm, which isn’t a bad thing. Respect it, reply constructively and let’s not stoop to a level below the ages being discussed here.
Are NPL Youth finals top 4 or top 5?

Any idea why 8am starts and why Weston are hosting games when have no teams in finals?
Home teams don't matter in youth semis. They play them at the same ground regardless of who makes it or who doesn't.
Certain grounds get more use over the years than others. Magic, Darling St, Edgy and Weston are regular hosts. I'm sure it is about ground quality...
As for the times, I would guess that it is to accommodate the travelling of the Mid and North Coast teams and to allow fro extra time and pens (if required)
I thought host was based on highest placed U16 team. Meaning Olympic and Jaffas would host. Stand corrected if wrong.
Kick off times make no sense as North Coast and Mid North Coast have been playing away games at 9am and 3pm all season. Unsure what moving them to 10am and 12pm achieves but impact other teams and age groups. Can't be due to extra time either as all games have normal 2 hours with kicks off being 8am, 10am, 12pm and 2pm instead of normal 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Why would they not play 18s after 16s games?
scores today
U13s Broadmeadow 5-0 Olympic
U14s Broadmeadow 3-0 Edgeworth
U16s Jaffas 1-1 on penalties v North Coast
U15s Jaffas 2-1 Olympic
The U16s North Coast team previously won 13s 14s 15s grandfinals. great effort
Magic u14 came second as well as Lambton u16.
Any updates from today’s games?
13s Mid Coast 2- 0
14s Olympic 6-1?
15s Edgy 2-2 won on Pens
16s Olympic 3-0
Well done to all the minor premiers making it through to the GF’s next weekend. Should be an entertaining day with the Jets vs Edgie wrapping up the days proceedings.
Have heard 13,14,15 Saturday at Edgy and 16 & 18 on Sunday at Maitland. Can't wait to see what weird and wonderful kick off times Northern will come up with???
maybe, but Maitland had a right shocker against lakes the week before, was nil-all at half time, ended up going down 4-nil but not what I would have expected from a top of the table team against the bottom, if lakes had any ability to score this season it could have been a different game.
Should be an interesting grand final though!
Glad we got a full season of football, could have gone either way this year under the circumstances.
Don't really care about their Lakes game. Am talking about the semi final.
End of the day, they still beat lakes 4-0. Maybe they lowered themselves to level of opposition. Maybe they tested players and gave extended minutes to squad players.
That’s the way they roll! Obviously didn’t fancy their own keeper and locked the 16s keeper in cupboard and pretended they couldn’t locate him. That’s ok, 15s keeper is available now this weekend.............like that’s going to happen!!!
not gloating stating facts, if people cant hack when their team plays a bad week they should get out of football. some of us have a bit more resilience than that. If mid coast had a bad game in their semi then so be it. Jesus. how do you expect players to learn the mental game thats part of football if you lot live in constant denial. the maitland game was one of lakes better games amongst a tough year when they also had some rubbish games. I have no issues with that either.
