Goal line pings it straight away ive heard

I don't know if it still does, but it used to take a few (maybe 5) seconds for that system to work it out and then ping the ref's watch. I would say either they have improved the technology's computing speed or the call was made by the official on the line. A third option might be that for cases where its well over the line, the goal line tech can more easily/quickly confirm that this is the case.
Trippier plays for Spurs and has been pretty good over the last season or two, I think he came to the fore more this season with Walker leaving them for City.
I think the commentators said Maguire (Harry) plays for Leicester. Don't know much about him.
Engerlund looked pretty good in the first half, some better finishing and they could give a lot of teams some trouble.
Group H looks as wide open as any. I didn’t watch either game though. All set to watch the 3 games today on demand... but stupid me put ESPN on for the baseball while watching Russia v Egypt on my phone, and I saw the other 2 scores flash up at the bottom.
At this stage, who is everyone’s pick to win it? Hardly any of the favourites have looked impressive so far.
Maybe Germany to shrug off first match blues, or Croatia or Russia as a smoky?
Spain and Portugal looked impressive but came up against each other.
Spain need goals from midfield, Costa just doesn't suit them.
Portugal need Guedes and Andre Silva to step up and feed off Ronaldo more. They can't rely on him every game.
Croatia didn't actually look amazing in their game. They would be a long shot for the final, sorry PV4.
Brazil will play Firmino up top next game and will have shaken off a few cobwebs. They are still my favourite.
Panama to shake off the first round clash against Belgium to cause England some trouble.
Yeah this is a great example.
There were FIVE defenders around Costa and he had no support.
Any other front man turns and recycles possession. No doubt.
Costas like, 'nah lemme just burrow in here and get shot and off'.
Not sure he scores 9/10 ,times but I'm damn sure hes shooting 10/10 times.
One game means **** all
Nothing has changed really
The winner will start to show about 2nd rd / quarter stage
By then we will have enough of an idea
France Argy etc aint going to have teams parking the bus when they get to the stage of the tournament they playing the bigger sides so their form is irrelevant
I'm incredibly happy to see Japan win last night
mixture of Asian pride and them being our bitches until someone bigger picks on them
Its good that Asia are doing better
2 wins already
Last WC couldnt muster1 win in Brazil and could only manage 3 draws which is a pretty lousy effort for the AFC
Still need to get to 4 wins to match 2010 results
Important we do well in this WC and next WC to maximise chances of increased spots when it expands to 48 in 2026
Mind you I think we can just write the Saudis off and it going to be hard for Iran to get more wins
So Japan Korea and Socceroos a lot riding on
the golden rule of the internet is you must always, ALWAYS, keep receipts.

do you think the pre-game talk from the portuguese coach consists of not much more than "kick it to ronaldo wherever he is and don't **** up in defence". morocco doing alright i reckon.
I know he is now a social media 'thing' but it doesn't alter the fact that the Morocco coach is a very handsome man.
These Morocco dudes would put 10 past australia
pepe is the biggest cheat in football.
twas funny though this morn because we got that 'other' Costa, the one that's probably gonna cost them big time.
Still though, when Iniestas genius can make a pass bounce off your knee and go in, then it's not all that bad of a day.
Also, seeing the 'big guns' scoring today makes it so much more exciting.
I'm so very very much more amped for this WC than the last 2 for some reason.
Disappointed for Morocco. They're an interesting team to watch with a few very skilful players but just don't have the x-factor to go a step further. Portugal were garbage.
