Sometimes it feels like you're intentionally trying to get on my bad side tbh

Not sure about the look of our kit from the back: http://www.foxsports.com.au/video/?v=282897

Don't worry, you won't see heskey or bridges running away from too many defenders.
Jeez, I had worries about it and now they've been confirmed.
The shirt doesn't flow with the shorts at all.
I've never understood having the stripes for the bottom part of a kit, then one block colour for the rest of the back. Either continue the stripes the entire back, or have the entire back one colour (ie see our last years kit for stripes everywhere, or Wellingtons last year for entirely one block colour on back). The wide red strip on the shorts is unnecessarily wide. Have also never understood why socks need a big patch of a different colour on the calf - it's like a target or something!
In summary - home kit fail. Let's just enjoy the away days!
You've ruined it for me pv4, thanks pal
I actually really liked it til I read your post
I agree, would look much better if the back was all solid blue. Still an improvement on last years though I think
It's really odd what they've done - the front looks predominately red, whereas the back is mostly blue.
They should have went away from the stripes, and done something different.
I asked a media commentator from another sport once and I assume it carries over to football, media dislike stripes and therefore via their contacts in the sports codes they push for the area where the number is displayed to be a block of colour which contracts the number easily. So they can pick it up as easily as possible in a fast moving environment. In AFL Hawthorn are a good example of this, brown and yellow stripes but a large white box for the black number to be easily seen.
Have to agree on the socks... that is just an odd design with little meaning or visual design quality.
Stripes at base of back of shirt will not be an issue if the playing roster show ******* respect and tuck their shirts in.
Yellow card if not. Best rule ever.
+1 to tucking in your shirt, having draw string from the pants hanging out the front.
Is it my eyesight or is the emerald hard to pick up in the distance, especially if your playing the game.Maybe shirts more white with the E&C stripes (cue rampage )
The Green looks a lot better than I thought it would.
Would like to see our supporters adopt this colour enmasse.
A sea of Green would look awesome.
Our support looks like a ****ing rainbow at present.
We have blue/red gold black/white and now the green.
Looks like some **** through up everywhere
threw
I thought it felt weird and unauthentic watching us in green.
Bring back the gold
I know red and blue aren't the cities football colours. I've supported the club since 2006 when I started following football. I know the history of the green, I just found it weird considering its so different to any other strip (colourwise) we've had since the dawn of the A-League
Looked sensational imo
Should be the home, away and third strip
Everyone else can work around it
Thought it was nice. Then I saw it in XXXXXXXXXXXXX-L. Perhaps its an average sized persons shirt?
Why is watching us in our proper footballing colours inauthentic?
Would love an expalianation of this thought.
I thought it looked, ok.
Not sold on Green as the primary colour for the playing strip, particularly one that is so close to the grass. Not sure if it was just due to the TV camera angles but at times it made it more difficult to identify players etc, not sure if it would have an impact on the pitch.
Ok, so not only do Brisbane's away kits look like training kits, they also have some ridiculous built-in orange undershirts :rof:
Black shorts with their away kit really doesn't suit them IMO. Ok kit just would look alot better with orange shorts.
I doubt if we will win any games in the green
I doubt if we will win any games.
Popped up on twitter yesterday that Jets are ditching ISC to go with a new supplier.
And its not Adidas/Nike/Kappa, described as "left field" by Jimmy Gardiner
Does that mean the Knights would too? God I hope it's not Kooga or some rubbish.
I'd consider Kappa "left-field" tbh. Although I know CCM have been really disappointed with them, and are changing next season to an Adidas/Nike.
I'd consider the big ones to be Adidas & Nike, with nearly as big being Puma & Umbro.
Some Lotto kits I've seen have been pretty tidy. Macron have done great with Perth.
As long as we keep an E&C kit, and as long as management actually look into a gold keepers kit as opposed to CCM yellow, I'll be happy.
TBH I hated on ISC until this season, but I am really impressed with what they did design-and-material-wise for the e&c kit. I wouldn't have been greatly unhappy if we stuck with them. I assume the move is because we sold way more jerseys than ISC expected, and Jets HQ have found a better $$ deal elsewhere.
left field is a pretty broad term and frankly rather annoying as far as attempting to guess
it could be anyone from the butcher who put together Lady Gaga's meat dress to Topper to Hot Tuna to Canterbury to Gorilla Sports
knowing how cheap the club have been so far I think the high water mark of the green isn't likely to be bettered
