It was a funny game... Barnsley were really bad, Kahibah had much more of the play. But in the end barnsley unlucky not to win with a saved penalty.
Neither of those teams will really compete playing like that though.

Cheers, must have just been the app version having a moment.
Anybody want to have a crack at predicting the top four in order??
Not easy in my opinion!
Word is out Northern will be asking for Expressions of Interest for NewFM expansion but nothing guaranteed about accepting any guaranteed numbers.
Any ideas if your clubs will be making a serious application?
Only other thing I heard was clubs and Northern were both in agreement the "criteria" would not be lowered or exceptions made (unless clubs have in writing their Council is due to upgrade this budget).
I believe Athletics track did have in the early NCC budgets money allocated to capital works there but if that's still the case or not after all the cost cutting etc I am not sure.
Does either Cooks Hill or Wallsend have a playing surface that will meet the standards? I'm asking not commenting, as I have not seen either for over 18 months and they may have improved since then but at those stages would have been pretty questionable.
From what I understand any promotion is not in any way linked to actually winning ZPL, it comes down to meeting the criteria in a sufficient enough level.
Surely Wallsend would
Cooks Hill's ground at the start of the year was better than I thought it would be, if it didn't meet Newfm standard it couldn't be far off.
Should focus on the important criteria. decent pitch both size and prep, good change rooms, safe enviroment for crowd to watch and clean facilities - toilets canteen. stuff the fences etc. Then let the teams who deserve to play higher have a crack. Sure, if 1st doesnt want to go, offer to someone else. I think it would give the 2nd tier a needed and deserved boost.

Kahiba v Cardiff should be a good game next week.
Both sides have recently taken pts off others but it may come down to who really wants L1 the most?
Will we see a scenario of players trying to kick balls into there own net or will club pride be the order of the day?
Close to a cup game.
Dudley V New Lambton
Thirds: 1-1
Reserves: 2-0
Firsts:1-3
Another great turn out at Dudley for the Peter Jones Memorial Day. Cheers to the Dudley boys and girls for making it a great day (as it is every year).
Is the New Lambton v Kahibah catch up this week?
Surely it must be as federation stated at start of year washouts must be played within 2 weeks of washout and it's now 4?
New Lambton have been working hard to try and get this fixture played. The challenge again however is that NCC are unable to provide a suitable facility to play night games. I understand that the game will now be played at Kahibah and dates to be confirmed early this week.
In relation to your comments regarding the 2 week washout rule, Newcastle Football have been fully aware of this situation from the outset, and are accepting of these extenuating circumstances.
New Lambton V Kahibah washout will be played on the 23rd and 24th July at Kahibah.

kahiba ice box was frozen. Only saw 2nd half which was mostly a blizzard going Cardiff's way. Cardiff were seemed to create the most with a hit crossbar and had a couple of chances over the bar.
Its not over but it looks like its L1 for tigers next year. Kahiba will have a chance to rebuild in ZPL.
