Absolutely. I just think up until now we reek of a team that no amount of changes or formation will help. When you are constantly second to the ball the players are not playing for each other and have raised the white flag. Don't get me wrong, Stubbins is accountable for this but so are the players.
Until they start putting in nothing will change. Some players were putting in but that doesn't make a team.
In some respects alot of what Tinkler/Stubbins has said is right in that the club needed a shake up and a broom put through it. Whether they got the right players and their methods in doing so is what is wrong.
Something that completely annoys me is the way David Carney has gotten a free ride in all of this.
Senior Player, gets a career lifeline from the Jets and a 2 year contract that puts him in the top paid players in the club. And how does he respond as a senior player and example to the younger players?
Openly admits to negotiating with SFC and Arnold within 6 months whilst trying to leverage another deal to China and admits to 2 breaches of his contract with the third up for debate.
This is the sort of senior player guys like Hoole look to. It's disgusting behaviour at a time when the Jets were going backwards and he clearly was just collecting his pay cheque.
SFC scum.
