Being able to have a (disjointed) conversation on the train with a lady who was deaf in the little Auslan that I know. It took her back a bit but it was a pretty cool experience.
Paying a parking fine that wife didn't tell me about, reminder notice arrived in the mail. Go online to pay and I owe significantly more than on the reminder notice. Call up to ask, girl says I've been charged the reminder fee and look up fee twice and she can't seem to remove them... goes and consults with her supervisor. The only way to fix it so they can go home on time is remove all reminder fees and voila, that's how I'm somehow happy to have just paid a parking fine.
