Interesting that Connor Metcalfe is playing well for Melbourne City. I was not aware until the weekend that he is a local.
In a region like Newcastle, it is a massive failure that a player like him can slip through and never play for this club.
He is not a world beater but he seems to have a lot of potential and appears far ahead of the prospects we do have here!

Alot of Jets Youth come through as "gunna bees". Gus has had a couple of seasons experience now.
The other kids mentioned here are doing it now.
This season is make or brake for Gus at the Jets. If he can displace a unfit Kanta or Ridenton then he never will make it here
