some good points and bad points obviously from last night
For such a big game there were way too many cutouts in the middle of bay 2 not joining in.
As has been said C&R is slowly getting better. Still need to get Western stand involved.

Singing/chanting in time with the Squadron is difficult in the Western stand. The delay between the squadron singing and the western stand is quiet long. when there are chants with clapping you really notice it.
Whether that changes as more people all over the stadium get involved though, who knows.
First time I really noticed more than my son singing NTUA.
I think the biggest problem in the Western Stand (well in the area around Bay 55) is that someone starts something, but just as people start getting involved it looses momentum.
The problem last night was in the Western Stand you could not hear the Squadron start a chant - so we started our own and it got pretty loud at times. Agreed sync was impossible.
NTUA could be huge if done right, and possibly played several times up to kickoff.
Any chance of getting a giant hose for bay 2 against glory at home, not looking forward to standing in potential 35 degrees heat.
Yeah like Jetmaster said, couldn't hear much in the western, but didn't seem to bother anyone, we know what to expect now, atmosphere was all good. The fast clap will probably never sound good because of the obvious laws of sound. The slow chants sound best, like "who are we". That could be slowed down to a word every 2 seconds, bit like how the member talks
I feel as though we don't have a chant for Brilliante. So I was thinking this http://youtu.be/j2RkSj1kXD8
was a transient bay2. probs didnt know the chants and cbf trying to find out
Anyone else here Roar's call and respond chant
yep - same as ours.
Not to mention they are also singing the same version of Dale Cavese.
Can't we just go back to "stand up if you love the jets" followed by "lets all jump"
What they are doing we need to do though with the PA pre match.
They also start a Brisbane chant after whereas we go were newcastle ole
I've never had an issue with the let's all jump for Newcastle ole ole, why is it only used sometimes these days?
Stand up if you love the jets I'm abit meh about it.
Back on last night, the chant that uses the tune of animals by Martin garrax is really catching on, love it!
Quite worried numbers are going to be horribly down on Saturday afternoon. Expected maximum temperature of 29 degrees.
What's the chance of moving to the terrace area like the roar game at home earlier this season? Worked very well with the call and response chants too.
zero
bay 2 is our home for the current time. It was an awesome one off and the regulars that usually stand there are not going to be happy if x amount of blokes just started standing there.
everyone needs to give 90 minutes regardless of the result as well especially if you are in bay 2, the drop in vocal support from when we went down to 1-0 against western Sydney was frustrating to say the least. If you are not willing to put the full 90 minutes in than bay 1 is your place.
wear a hat, sunnies and drink water. sorted.
A hose would be better

Good to see positive steps taken in what could have been a horrible afternoon in bay 2 otherwise. Very good having several of the core lads together down the front near body on mega, seemed like their was less cut outs out in the bay this arvo then the wanderers game.
Big ups to the mallinwa chant that went off today :)
was still only a participation rate of about 50% however. Need more people to get involved.
Am I the only one who thinks that maybe the lads with the drums in bay 4 would be better coming over into bay 2 and joining us? Do people elsewhere in the stadium find that it drowns out bay 2?
Oh and maybe it's just because I never go down the front, but I actually thought participation was quite good considering the numbers, especially in the first half.
Also I know others in the past have commented on their being too many kids in bay 2, but I don't see the problem with them at all. A fair few of them put in and if we didn't have any of them around we'd be worse off. Old mate with the flag (semi-kid) was nuts, still trying to work out how he managed to wave that thing non-stop for a good half and hour :rof: Great to see.
What was terrible was a certain Stone Island aficionado trying to (jokingly?) hit on some 12 year old girls at half time. It was legit disgusting to see, disgraceful scenes.
I actually thought it helped spread the message a little wider in the eastern stand and found those around where i was sitting were getting into the clapping with his drums for some of the squadron's chants. maybe decide on some standard chants for corners, free kicks or goal kicks and get him to join in for those which he was doing a bit but he seemed to have to wait to see what you guys would start.
I couldnt hear him that well due to our own noise, but if he was joining in on our chants thats excellent.
For corners, set pieces etc we tend to start Cmon Newcastle or Jets anyway which can be heard and then joined
Let's get serious..... Griffs back
Joel griffiths walks on water
In a dramatic turn of events bay 2 is filled in honour of Griffo
100 standards
GRIFF IN!
GVE OUT!
