The problem is that iterations of the FFA/APL and the Jets have sterilized the game day atmosphere. There needs to be a return to game day rituals, superstitions, someone needs to pay a tribute in Styx creek, the "Squadron" or whatever it's called these days needs to just entertain itself and be there for the players, and not worry about trying to get the rest of the crowd into it.
The Americans have a great tradition of tailgating at games, and just making a day of it and bringing their own enjoyment of the game with them. We just need to stop expecting the club do it for us.
