Mooy had a very rare shocker, gave the ball away more tonight than he probably has collectively for the last 12 months!

I'm not saying that pitch is an excuse but fmd..I saw Jackson Irvine's knee
disappear into the turf after that free he gave away when he came crashing to earth.
Nothing they tried seemed to come off. They didn't play the field like Thailand did.
And did I mention how sh!t Mooy was tonight? Total passenger. Rogic disappeared
2nd half too. Field didn't suit his style of play. Both he and Mooy coughed up
way too much ball in the midfield.
Lots of soul searching for Ange with his player selections and for most of those players
before March comes around.
Gee...I wonder where that Saudi game will be played? The Melbourne and Sydney cards have been frittered
away now. Looming as the biggie at home. I consider Japan away already a loss....
Also, how can those pricks from the AFC tell us that Enema Australia Stadium at the time
wasn't good enough for a Confederation finals series but allow guff like that pitch for a qualifier?
Half way through and we are 1 point off the lead. We have 3 home games left. We have Japan away as well as Iraq at a neutral venue.
We should really still finish in the top two, tonight just would have (and should have) made it a much less nervous wait!
Jedinak and Rogic and Leckie are trash.
Mooy and Kruse had a dig but were also trash.
Don't care about the others.
I miss luongo
Auspicious day to post this:

At least the 2nd leg would be at home!
:brrr:
Edgeworth would have done a better job than those khunts.
And Tommy does it again...:whistling:

Full squad: Mustafa Amini, Aziz Behich, Nathan Burns, Tim Cahill, Milos Degenek, Ryan Edwards, Alex Gersbach, Craig Goodwin, Rhyan Grant, Chris Ikonomidis, Jackson Irvine, Mile Jedinak, James Jeggo, Tomi Juric, Robbie Kruse, Mitchell Langerak, Mathew Leckie, Massimo Luongo, Awer Mabil, Riley Mcgree, Matthew Mckay, Mark Milligan, Aaron Mooy, Mathew Ryan, Trent Sainsbury, Brad Smith, James Troisi, Daniel Vukovic, Rhys Williams, Bailey Wright.
Thoughts??
Probably a few hard done by - Brad Jones the hardest done by in my opinion.
Wilkinson leading the defence for the best team, currently, in the league is probably hard done by and Brillante probably a better option then McGree. In saying that, neither would expect to be in the final 23, so maybe exposing the youngster isn't a bad idea.
Grant benefiting from a lack of options at right back.
A few new faces which isn't the worst thing ever to see.
A distinct lack of right backs in there. Grant, Milligan, makeshift right backs?
Surely there is an underlying reason that Jones isn't in there.. there has to be. But tbf to Vukovic he has been outstanding this year (granted, behind a terrific back 6 of SFC).
I'm devastated that Spira is injured.
Got that awful feeling we will not go to Russia (in 2018)....
11pm has to be one of the shittest times for a football match.
Another Leckie Masterclass.
Oh, and Jedinak remains garbage.
Has Leckie historically provided assists for our team? Because how the f*** is he able to hold his spot?
See all that speed he had to get to that open header from 2 yards out?
white boy speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.
Hey look everyone Robbie Kruse is playing.
Yay.
Is Ante Millicic mid plug treatment or something?
Rocking the hat in the rain is just telling on yourself.
Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct rocked the wet hair look well.
She didn't need no hat.
This team though ****... should have been down 1 or 2 early.
Once they started pushing higher and knocking it around they do it easy.
That Juric goes alright for a poor mans Simon. That pass to Kruse was world class.
Irvine I also like, started slow but just has those long legs that seem to win the ball. Tidy once he has it too.
I might add, how has Leckie and kruse gotten the gig over Troisi? The guy is a great player in red hot form. Leckie well, you guys all have your opinions.
Kruse looks like a guy who was great before he got injured, he is close to being good but just seems off. A few years ago before his injury run he was in amazing form.
Great save from the Coastie...
Good 'ol Straya. Doing all they can to let them back into the game.
Just waiting for the BS penalty now...

Keep these dates free...
Iraq got hosed.
Cahill needs to shut the **** up.
Good and drunk on a Thursday though.
Excellent.
Sky is falling apparently
If we win our 3 remaining home games we will qualify for the WC
If we get some more points we will still be in it
So hard to see what the carry on is
It's like the Jets - keep talking the talk but not getting the points. I honestly did not think we were top two after the first game against Iraq, where we were poor, and we have not dominated a single game. It's nice to say we have three home games but you still have to actually WIN them.
Unless something changes drastically on Tuesday I can see us going down the toilet.
Anything less than a win on Tuesday will see us finish 3rd or worse
