Thats close for me, but i would replace Warners Bay with Bero. I think they just have a little bit more in them.
Cooks Hill for me will scrape into 4th.
My top two are Jesmond and Terrace.... slightly different to my original guess thanks to Stockton and Barnsley bombing this season and Kotara being a bit up and down!
Plenty of games left to be played, can't rule out any team making the for yet!!
But yes Jesmond off to a great start, looking likely to make the four
Last time we were in ZL1 our 1st grade team went unbeaton 1st round, 2nd round only won 1 or 2 games and were lucky to scrape into the top 4!
Been meaning to give a special mention to Kotara first grade keeper on the weekend. Watching on I saw one of our strikers go down with cramp whilst Kotara had us on the ropes. Fair enough Kotara didn't kick it out at this stage but our other striker came over to help him out. Leaving Kotara defenders to push on and put even more attacking pressure on. At this point the Kotara keeper came out 20/30 yards to lend a hand so that one of our strikers could get back and help. Just something small that didn't go unnoticed by myself and I felt the need to mention.
Kudos big man
This weekend- I predict=
Stockton
Jesmond
Terrace
Kotara
warners bay
Cooks Hill v Terrace set to have been a ripper but shame Terrace have a heap out. Hopefully still will be.
Yeah mate 12 of their starting side.
Seriously no idea but have a mate there that confirmed have a few out.
Nothing more, nothing less in it from my perspective.
If Cooks Hill want to turn up and only have half a go based on that then Im sure Terrace will be stoked by that and Id welcome a carton but if it's xxxx that's popular up there they can keep it
Cooks hill vs Barnsley catch up tonight
3rds 3-1 cooks hill
Res 3-1 cooks hill
Shout out to retrojet for the brain fade putting the irrigator up the middle of the pitch this afternoon leaving the pitch wet and boggy for a catch up wash out match, horses arse nomination for sure!
And that's Retro Jet with a capitol 'R'...TYVM!
Yes, self nominated award. Geez...Horses Arses eh? I've been doling them out for neigh on 20 years now
so was bound to do something wrong with the amount of work I do about the shop.
Just tell the good punters about dem keys!
So, same again Tue morning, yes? It's been a dry old argument for fields lately.
She'll be right once I put the TR3 over the paddock tomorrow and stripe her up.
maybe Retro Jet can do us a favour and keep the pitch watered for the rest of the week , but yes quite a few out with injury and suspension unfortunatley.
