Lol mis-read it.
games on this week.. whats everyones predictions now theyve seen a few competion games
Is it just me or does the only interest in this joke of a comp come from the ID levels?
T.V and Radio league might take interest in it next year when they realize its the 1st few rounds of the FFA Cup. Is it just me or am I wrong for thinking everyone wants more games to play and this "joke of a comp" is good for the whole of NNSW football and should be embraced. If we didn't have a cup comp you would probably be whinging saying we should have one Zico didn't hear to many magic supporters calling it a "JOKE" when they won the thing
+ 1, and while we are at it bring the GF to this region. I dont see the point of having the gf with a nothing crowd being played 3 hours away, it is in my eyes paying lip service to our associate member organisations. I understand that whilst David Eland and his board may attend the match so far away i bet he and his organisation dont pack the family in their respective football funded cars and make a family trip of it. You see i dont believe DE and Co to be football people because you never see them bring there family to the games, whilst i pack the station wagon full and zip around the region from grade to grade and park to park. Just my opinion.
To Be Honest,
Coffs has a good facility, which also allows 2 games at the same time being played side by side.
The main thing is that it is halfway between the state cup region, thats why i think they hold it there.
Think of a family from the queensland border if there team makes the playoffs, they would have to pack there family van and travel double of our time, if it was held here.
Coffs council pay NNSWF to hold the semi and final there, it worth about 15 grand to NNSWF and in return brings a lot of patronage to business in coffs harbour, so if Newcastle or Lake Macquarie council feel like footing the bill then things may change but I doubt it, I believe it's a good set up

just sayin
Wednesday nights games at uni have been moved to Lance York Oval.
Just to kick start conversation and adding on to what Zico said about wanting a proper comp do we think it feasible to have all teams in 1 comp no Northern/Southern pool every team in one hat the NBN/NewFM and a select few clubs from up north seaded into the last 64??????
Solo Cup- Magic Vs Lambton 3-2 win to magic... both teams fielding majority of U23's i think.
From Lance York Oval:
The Wallsend Red Devils march on. 2-0 over Kotara Sth.
University continue their campaign with a victory over Garden Suburbs in penalties.
Wallsend 2 V 0 Kotara
Uni 0 V 0 Suburb Uni progress on penalties 3 years in a row Suburbs knocked out on penalties
