What club wants to hold a player who doesnt want to be there at all.
Paartalu kicks up a stink, asks to leave. Club can either continue to pay someone to do nothing or release them and use the money elsewhere/save it.

Maybe they are trying to work these issues out before announcing anything?

When the club is top of the table and is one of their better players, its a little more difficult than you suggest.

Even when there is no contract and the club is a shambles it can still be difficult....just ask McGlinchey

I hear a big signing may be on the cards if not already signed.
Could Jeronimo be no 8? If not we are getting someone else - apparently will be our biggest "domestic" signing ever.

Or perhaps rumor and innuendo.... But Paartalu was 8 at Roar.

Yeah paartalu was 6 at roar. Lets hope this huge signing happens. Bresciano anyone? It'll probably be jonas Salley tho

All I've heard of him in the last few years is he has more interest in partying than anything else.

Ronaldinho "I want to make history". Seems his gone stale on the Boca Juniors move and is now taking his time to way up his options.
The only feasible options I see in the A-League would be Perth and City both have the cash to bring him here, at a stretch WSW with a 3rd party backing it and maybe Adelaide with the Barcelona connection.
