Glory have signed Jamie Maclaren
sauce: HP
Jets resign Cooper to the end of 14/15 season
Maclaren a very good signing, Perth also a chance to pick up either Ryan Williams or Ryan Edwards on loan which would give them a very good youth brigade blended in with smeltz, burns and co.
Konstantinidis goes alright, was meant to play Greek super league last season but team he signed for crashed financially and got relegated, 190 cm skilful winger/striker.
As much as I'd like us to sign talent like the aforementioned, we need so fellas 25+ with experience
Umm when Mitchy joined us If I remember right he was signed to a 3 year deal the rest of last seasons youngsters got 2 year deals.
That would mean 2012/13>>>> 2013/14>>>> 2014/15.
Can't imagine he would have got a payrise for a few appearances.
HSG drossing up some more shit to the masses to make themselves look good????

Was originally signed for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons. So it's a one-year add-on, and basically lets him know that he's got this season and the one after to actually do somethingQuote:
Cooper meanwhile, joins the Jets on a two-year deal after playing six games for Gold Coast United in 2011/12.
EDIT: Didn't even fully appreciate how young he is though, tbh. He's 18 now, he'll be 20-21 when his contract expires. He has a long way to go - hopefully he's the goods!
hope he's good at pulling splinters out of his arse
Sensible stuff from HSG - extend all these kids so that they can play under the new coach next season and step up.
According to NNSWFF website the next wave of coaches are going to be GVE clones. Pepsi anyoneHTML Code:Newcastle Jets Coaching Masterclass

Maybe 1 night should be allocated to learn the excuses should your results not stack up...on second thoughts better make that 2
Wheres the training on playing sideways and backwards at a ridiculously slow tempo so all goals the team score require you to beat all 11 opponents??
Wheres the training on pushing fullbacks up then getting caught with the ball in the backline and being arse raped as 4 attackers swarm all over 2 defenders??

Pretty high likelihood that we are going to be well behind in the members stake this year. WSW have already hit 8k.
Still can't believe our membership campaign translates loosely to "If you don't support us while we are shit, you can **** off"
Yes, my faith in humanity has been crushed by day 3 of the new financial year.
Look at it this way Grim, the bar lines will be much shorter:tongue:
