I've just worked it all out...this explains our season and it comes back to negotiating Phil's contract
"Robbie, can I have a win bonus inserted in the contract?"
"How about no win bonus, Phil"
"Yeah sure Robbie"
"Phil, you do understand what I'm saying?"
"Loud and clear mate. Loud and clear.
thanks for another top result stabbins you ***hole
Ok so we all know Philine isn't going to fall on his own sword. So surely now we point the finger at the man who has said all the right things but is yet to show us anything new.....da #str8shoota
I see what you are saying and I can agree with it
But I am gonna lay off Murphy for the time being and give him some time.
The Muppet is in charge for the first game of next HAL season then Murphy is joining the list of mine as he has then failed us.
I am liking that it is almost getting to the stage where Tinker will have to fire him himself
You are making a huge assumption that Mr Tinkler actually gives a flying ****. Where is our chairman? Certainly nowhere visible.
Murphy is in the same situation as Middleby was. Unable to make the big decisions, because its the big man himself who really makes all the calls when any money is involved. For all the talk of how good he is, nothing has been achieved since he took the reigns. I'm not going to judge him on that, more the puppet master at the top.
Tinkler has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he was just giving us lip service with all his positive talk when he took over as chairman.
I'm not sure now this hasn't become some sick perverse game for Tinkler. He is sitting back giving his final **** you to Newcastle and the FFA.
Nothing is changing till he goes.

how's big nog throwing his weight around ffs :rof:
He has been told he is not to touch Stubbins!!
So if Murphy is a straightshooter and he is involved with two bullshit artists like Tinks and Stubbins, just hypothetically say one day he has enough of this whole charade trying to cover both their arses and resigns.....surely that would bring things to a head with FFA that surely they would not be able to stand by and ignore any longer.
I am asking Murphy to have the balls to do what is right for this club and sack Stubbins.....or resign yourself. I'm sure you will find another job elsewhere but more then that you will have the utmost respect from all Newcastle Jets supporters.....something Stubbins and Tinkler will never have.
We need more Sunderland fans. Anyone see those guys get dragged away by security absolutely ripping in to poyet. Next day, Poyet sacked!
We need the NRL to take over the Jets.
Once they ****ed Tinkler off and sacked the coach they haven't lost a game.
Anyone partaking in the Lowe down live blog right now?
Interesting question/message just posted...

I hate to say bad things about stubbins,i have talked to him, he is so commited to the club and wants it much, usually,i dont blame the coach, but all i want from stubbins is to take a risk. play some attacking football,we have nothing to lose, its just a shame to see such a team low on confidnce, give the kids a go,see what they do
he didn't answer my question about his greatest strength.
http://www.theherald.com.au/story/29...-for-stubbins/
He is more disullisional then I thought. Late payments don't happen everywhere and I tell you if I was paid late two months in a row I'll be majorly pissed off
well, to be fair, late pay and wooden spoons wouldn't be the BIGGEST deterrent to signing for the jets.
I like how he said noone has said anything at training about it....yeah cause speaking out gets you pretty far at this great club
re the comment...
in another context... Aarau facing relegation to the second league...
We appointed are young coach (young by means of experience and age) ex player at Aarau some time ago and is from the area..
This was his first gig of a proper professional club.
The season started of well but we are now no wins in 14 games.
Facing relegation like i said in last place, 3 points behind 9th. before the weekend there was 7 points in it up to 6th spot. So a couple of wins and you would be sitting comfortable...
Another loss to a fellow relegation candidate and 2 other teams winning..
Christ had to go and yesterday he was given the boot and a new coach brought in...
Its irrespective if a coach wants to change wants going on, has passion, has been involved with the club... If it doesnt work something has to change..
(the league in anycase in Aus will not get any better in the lower half of the table until a relegation or a penalty system is put into place)
Oh and Stubbins out!!!!!
end info rant.
Stubbins rules out Carney Return (The Herald)
COACH Phil Stubbins has put a line through the chances of exiled midfielder David Carney making a return for the Newcastle Jets.
Carney has not played since owner Nathan Tinkler moved to sack the former Socceroo and four other senior players in the fallout from a 7-0 thrashing to Adelaide on January 24.
Kew Jaliens (Melbourne City), Joel Griffiths (Wellington Phoenix), Adrian Madaschi (Western Sydney) and Billy Celeski (released) have exited the club.
Carney, who has a season to run on his contract, has continued to train despite being overlooked for selection.
A meeting between the player and coach late last week had appeared to open the way for the 31-year-old to resume playing.
However, after a Herald report on Tuesday, that door has been closed and Carney will sit out the remainder of the campaign despite a depleted squad and series of poor results.
Stubbins addressed the matter after training on Tuesday.
‘‘Was there a chat? Yes,’’ the coach said.

‘‘Has the stance changed? No.
‘‘He won’t be playing.’’
The Jets face Adelaide at home on Sunday.
Andrew Hoole, who was outstanding in the drought-breaking 2-1 win over Wanderers, is away with the Olyroos in Chinese Taipei, creating a vacancy on the left wing.
Mr 2 in 22 talks of "moving forward" but can't bury the hatchet with a player and play him!
Possibly thought about it, talked to Tinks who said - "**** the ****, and you too if you play him."
Hope stubbins plays him.
also, this continues the stubbins 'didn't pick the team' line, now its just the Chairman making those calls.
not that i want carney back
