Im finally getting around to watching The Wire almost 1st Season finished... quality show...
At home sick today.
Dawson's Creek on TV
Government conspiracy to get people off the couch and into work I reckon.
**** me how was that show ever a hit?
Don't underestimate Pacey's impact on the female gender.
Mrs Plague was all in on that sad sack.
Still though when Dawson got that 'older' girlfriend that was pretty dope.
Gretchen I think.
Also, as an aside, there was a very cool interview with Dawson on the wireless the other day.
Dude seems like a legit nice bloke.
Proper soft cock on that show though.
Compared to the show this is a sneak peek.
Pretty sad news..
John Dunsworth passed away today..
Better known as Jim Lahey from Trailer Park Boys..

Legend.. Trailer Park Boys what a show.
Watching Brooklyn 999 hooked. Such a funny show
Jane the Virgin. Clever and hillarious take on the telenovela genre. Waiting for season 4 to come out now.
I watched the first few series of Shameless [US Version] but what was a bit of a laugh at first is unfortunately a very accurate portrayal of how substance abuse destroys families and society in general. These people actually do exist - I know because I've met them.
Got through the 1st ep of “Altered Carbon”. Left the wife to watch the remaining.
Cannot understand the hype for an updated, and far less entertaining Blade Runner.
Apparently the book is great, so I might give that a go.
I think I may have read the book round 10 years ago - if not then it was a very similar concept. Was a pretty good read.
Can raise an interesting discussion on this topic though.. most people when faced with death imminently are going to be scared; so is it irrational for people to be aware of their mortality even when not staring it down? Or vice versa is it an "enlightened state" to be able to comfortably live in ignorance of it? (which would be most people who aren't scared of it, myself included).
Oh I think you’ll find that really young people and really old people handle death the best (ever told a young kid a relo has died they are like ‘ok, can I go back to LEGO now?’
Old people know it’s coming and most are comfy knowing their time is up.
Whereas once you hit the middle part you not only stress about your own mortality, and those close to you, but you get sad over complete strangers dying. It’s weird man.
I’m not sure if ignorance is the best word. I’d call it acceptance. You know it’s coming, you can’t do anything about it, so why stress.
I’m also not the best person to ask on this either. It has a very unflattering name, but I’d rather you just assume I’m ‘different’.
If anything I’m def more ‘concerned’ at how my life will be when I reach the age you physically can’t live your current life.
I guess I was looking at contrasting the ignorance with acceptance. I reckon a lot of people probably aren't that happy that they're gonna die. But just don't really think about it much and so its not an active concern. Rather than being well aware of it in day to day life and having conscious thoughts that its acceptable and considering it in their decisions.
I'm currently watching Riverdale - I used to read the comics as a kid and while it's not 100% accurate due to being aimed at a modern audience - it's entertaining enough - just don't expect Citizen Kane.
Riverdale is good.
So is Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (but I like Douglas Adams)
And Black Lightning is very good too
Anyone seen Barry?
Watched first few episodes. Enjoying it.
Yes I have, other Barry
Fox cancelled Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Devastated.
Relax, its all just attention grabbing..
It's already been picked up by another network..
Getting around to Black Mirror, just finished season 2.
But wow very interesting and some mind ****s.
