This concerns me more than the lack of a striker. I don't see him up to standard so far.

VAR ****ing the Jets over against Victory again
Where have I heard that before ??
I give up on this league, I really do.
Hahahaha at least VAR is worse than us. Holy f**k. What are the rules for anything anymore I dunno
and then Taylor puts the ball in anyway, should be 5-4 with 15 to go
My favourite part of the match was when Hoffman tried to defend Arzarni but he walked past him and set up a goal. So then Hoffman tried to defend Bruno but Bruno scored 3 more goals.
It reminds me a lot of when every team in the league targets Hoffman and they score many goals by doing so.
But i guess we'll never ever work out how to fix that problem.
The Issue I have with it is that this is gonna not make any great issues after the game because this game is done n dusted etc
But the ****wit on the VAR needs lynching on two fronts
1 The time it took to come to that decision was a disgrace as it was clear as soon as they looked at it what the outcome was
2 The fact the dumb **** doesn't know the rules so got the decision incorrect
There is no excuse at all for such an incorrect decision. It isn't even close to correct
The young lady on VAR over analysed last season as well.
Needs to be held to account.
And these biased commentary teams......???
Refs still don't know arzani is a diving arsehole. Only watched the first half, then turned off, is there a Stanton out fred
Buhagiar really knows how to miss a goal.
I don't think we've really deserved anything from the game but considering their handball penalty, the VAR debacle not awarding us a goal and some Buhagiar misses, this could've been a much different scoreline
I am impressed that this version of the Jets goes down 4-1, then turned around in the second half and put the ball in the net 3 times. It's a refreshing change of pace from the team that almost always puts their head down and never ends games strong.
Bin Hoff and Jenkinson and this team will be infinitely better. I hope that change alongside Goodwin and Piscopo eventually rejoining the squad will keep us relatively competitive until the potential buyout and hopeful additions to the squad
Jets need an old school centre back. Someone who will command the area, win challenges, bark orders. Basically the opposite of Hoffman.
I would have chased the Swiss centre back that was at Western United for the last 2 years. The guy was a machine.
I don't think I'll ever understand how someone can walk into the Jets job right now, knowing full well that we will probably lose most weeks, and not realise that all fans want is a bunch of kids trying to improve instead of some old plonkers doing exactly what we know they will do.
Also, obviously anyone with half a brain can see Hoffman and Jenko are both finished.
Either Cancar and Natta as a back 2 next to Ingham and Mauragis, or add in Wilmering at LCB and move Mauragis further up the pitch.
Anything outside of that next week and Staunton is officially dumb and needs to be pissed off to NPL to fight Scott Millar for the dumb dumb award each year.
Wrong coach with a weak squad.
If youd told me we would have 2 wins, 1 draw (away v Perth) and an away loss to start the season I'd have taken it.
Its not all that bad.
Go the Jets.
