Can confirm I don't work for the Herald.
Change of topic, and I realise this has likely been gone over a million times already: isn't Kincumber in gypo-land?

Bump :sigh:
Dead set, pitchforks won't be enough.
Who's up for a meeting and a plan of action. Time well past to take our team back.
Had too many beers to comment
stop purchasing memberships and tickets if you're srs. i threw my membership in the styx after adelaide done us 1-0 last minute back in 09 or some shit, back when the cards were of a decent construction and actually had some monetary value, not the chickenfeed they're worth today.
have a go cunce
I am not thinking it should be too hard.
Stick to reasonably attainable goals that the fanbase will all agree on
Stubbins Out
Tinkler Out
That I think we all can agree is needed at the minimum.
We ain't going anywhere under Stubbins with or without money and Tinks for obvious reasons
We stick to those goals and I think you will find those that do front will easily fall into line in agreement and embrace the challenge
Abandonment is the last thing we need, look how well that ended for Fury and Gold Coast.
Stay strong cunce stand firm and show those that matter we're not fickle and will stand up for our club, our town and prove we are the best supporters in the league.
Need a replacement for Tinks before we go asking for his head on a stick.
The idea is not abandonment. The idea is to show our concern and raise a groundswell of public opinion. A public campaign calling for
A. Tinkler to sell or move on but with the appropriate gratitude for having bailed out the club initially (FFA control)
B. The rallying of support for the club.
Walking away is not on the agenda.
We are all passionate about our team and want it successful. A strong fan based action aimed at change at the top and appropriate supporter representation in the club going forward.
suggestions:
Open letter in the press
appropriate banners / posters / civilized match day protest at management (not players).
Letter campaign in the Herald and to FFA
Certainly open to your ideas. We all have them and we all seem to share the same passion.
I think we are aware of that and that is half the issue
No one else is showing enough interest to sort our mess out which makes our suffering even more futile.
I think the day is drawing ever nearer where we will all be in unanimous agreement that he is selling us down the river with his I ain't selling back flip.
So far all we have seen is hot air, promises and departures of players.
We are yet to see a serious positive act on the blokes behalf that he isn't bullshitting us all.
If he is serious about keeping the club this week will prove whether he is serious or not by his action or non action with the 7-0 hiding.
No matter how much smoke him and Phil love blowing up each others arses big noting themselves and each other 7-0 is not defendable position let alone ****ing acceptable outcome for anyone to be keeping their job
Do you not think keeping it "in house" is more likely to keep it silent? We can start here if that is the consensus (and it probably likely stops the club arguing that proper channels were not used for grievance), but I think we need to go public.
ok, I will draft something and post it here over the next couple of days. I make no claim to being a great writer so I will welcome comments. Perhaps Furns and Jeterpool can tidy it up and incorporate any suggestions for improvement
Happy to help and represent through the medium I can, as I am sure Gaz and Furns are too. And don't worry about keeping it in house because you all know what is being said and we can verify anything coming out.
Remember the song we sing before kickoff, everyone. They can never tear us apart. We're in it for the long haul. We may all disagree at times but we're the ones who have to stick together at the end of the day. And I tell you our team needs us more than ever now.
Is this subcommittee up and running yet or is it a nice feel good gesture?
overflow the email inboxes at Jets admin. caarn
Isn't the whole subject completely nothing to do with the Sub Committee anyway??
The reasoning behind the need for pitchforks is down to the clubs inability to get their shit sorted anyway
Flooding their inboxes ain't gonna achieve much as they most likely will bounce as they don't pay the ****ing internet bill anyway.
Even if they do get through a couple of hundred emails saying they are shit and hopeless ain't gonna change much.
Protest Rally or protests at the ****ing game. It is a time to vent publically to all and sundry that this is a joke
There's no more silent a protest than that of empty seats…Plastic ones at that
Just wear gold.
It's what I will be doing. Going to wear a lot for the first time in years
I tell ya what, this isn't very fair on Tinks.
Blokes been in the new role 2 weeks and everyone's ready to tar and feather him.
Middleby went like a busted for years and blokes are still sticking up for him.
Gold
Wear ****ing Gold
Walking away leaves you dead. Just ask Glasgow Rangers.
Wear gold - quick, simple.
I'm in.
Maybe some protest against stubbins at training would help.
what will wearing gold achieve other than successfully committing a heinous fashion crime
